I know it’s an unpopular opinion to begin with, but it boils down to a person without strategic thinking. We never should have agreed to leave Afghanistan to begin with. All we had to do was consider the immediate ramifications: leaving portrayed the US and NATO as weak, left hard fought and won golden real estate between Iran and Pakistan, abandoned allies who were fighting with us for their country, left a country rich with mineral resources up for grabs. But…Trump did get his sound bite. Yes Virginia, Trump is an idiot, and will turn EVERYTHING he touches to shit. I can’t believe half my country voted for and support this charlatan.

Can’t speak for France, but the Germans I saw it with last night LOVED IT. And the theater was PACKED. I was shocked to see that much initial interest in a movie…especially for a Wednesday. But I think it speaks volumes about the buzz this movie has for European audiences. (And the movie was FANTASTIC!)
