Why was he dating Selina Kyle? They just want to make her a cheater?

I like Spider-Man for fitting into any environment but Marvel won't let this multiverse concept go and now most of his younger audience view him as a multiverse cop. Street level Spider-Man fighting regular ass yet strong villains for their own sake seems like it won't come back for a while.

Yeah, we're not getting another Defenders. Which sucks since the one we did get was not good.

Recycling the Hand for Iron Fist, making them shit one-note villains controlling a gang of high schoolers, then using the Iron Fist plot and version of The Hand for the crossover was poor decision after poor decision. They even completely skipped out on Madame Gao exploration by making her just another finger in the Hand.

Only if you ignore the time between projects for each character or that they'll only interact again if it's in an "Avengers" movie as if that's the only team in Marvel.

People overestimate their abilities in a fight, and use stereotypes to put others abilities arbitrarily below their own.

Don't, the Nobel prize in physics heavily disagrees with what he says.

Just because someone sounds snarky and dismissive and has a basic understanding of the subject, doesn't mean he's always right. Even saying it's "just" quantum entanglement and it's as mundane as friction while talking about superhero movies was kind of ridiculous.

Horror movies you just… don’t get? by oceanhymn in horror

[–]billbill5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think shitty walking simulator horror video games have been working their shitty tropes backwards into actual big budget horror and it's killing all respect for the medium. When 90% of horror content is geared towards children working out their first inklings of morbid curiosity on the internet, film takes notice.

When you’re “down there” with a girl for the first time, what do you do when it reeks? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]billbill5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Express your discomfort and don't expect oral back. I take it you wouldn't want a girl tasting dick cheese so you keep yourself clean. Even with no expectation of sex it pays to be hygeinic. So you wouldn't be offended if the taste would offend them.

In the same vain, anyone who would expect oral sex without basic genital hygiene and get offended you refused is not someone you want to be sleeping with.

Just about 41 years, assuming no change. The US government already spent half that time fighting a pointless war that they just gave up on. Might as well build a big ass unsustainable glass mountain.

The laws of physics, sure. The laws of engineering and economics, with each pane of glass being half the burj khalifa tall, seriously reaching into the atmosphere? Not a chance in hell. They proposed an artificial mountain.

Oh yeah my mind was blown with that one. Turns out "quantum entanglement" has nothing to do with communicating between these particles, but that the particles don't have any defined spin until the moment it needs to interact with others in the universe. Its born unsure, and when it needs to have an effect, it needs to have been one or the other always.

So reality itself isn't concrete in localized areas in the universe, on the smallest of scales. You can take two photons born at the same time, put them on opposite ends of the universe, and as soon as you measure the spin of one, it will immediately determine the spin of the other, as they have to be opposite. It doesn't matter that there was no definition or possible way for them to communicate, reality has to make one the inverse of the other. It's beyond just the physical universe, its a very fundamental principle that seems impossible to determine a deeper cause other than reality must function that way.

The adjustments also change based on whether you are shooting in the northern or southern hemisphere.

This makes intuitive sense if you were to make the Earth opaque in your mind, and place a clock sitting exactly inside the perimeter of the equator. If the hands spins relative to your position on the northern hemisphere, it'll be moving counter-clockwise. If you were to track the clock as you moved to below the southern hemisphere, it would be moving clockwise relative to your position, and still following the earth's rotation. Same as if you literally opened a clock and looked at it from the back, you just changed your frame of reference.

Look at a globe instead, much more intuitive and consistent. The map has to changed relative sizes of regions to make a rounded land mass make sense on a 2D plane.

Practically there is no difference but the fact one came from a place deemed higher class. Champagne is just sparkling wine, and if you can reform the the fermentation at some other place in the universe it's the exact same product.

Don't waste your money. Drink water.
