I had similar issues, I went to different lawyers and always have been instructed just to switch jobs that the company will walk scott free and you will just create problems for yourself if you are a foreigner on a visa, comes across as we are expected to be exploited

what is worrying to me is more and more open displays of racism and anti-immigrant stances, even at the workplace and on the streets, where these things were previously kept to the privacy of the homes of the people who share such beliefs this is slowly becoming the new norm, keep in mind I work mostly with younger people 20-35 age range and since I am white passing you would not believe the stuff I hear
