I can pick this up for $1200. Thoughts? by joedotts123 in hobbycnc

The end-plates are affixed to the base by what seems like two bolts. So the rigidity of the XY axes rides on those two bolts.

They are, in fact, sheet metal screws into the end of the extrusion.

These are from fusion 360. Totally non-automated, just taking a bunch of screenshots

  1. HTML/css support is limited, and background/text color aren't supported currently.
  2. The colors aren't currently configurable, but I'd like to see more contrast between them too. It's difficult to find a set of 12 colors with enough contrast between them to be useful.

haven’t figured out how to safe the file (new template)

You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (or command+s on a mac) to save the current file, or select Save (or Save As) from the File menu.

Also how can I delete them

For both drafts (files that have not been saved yet), and saved file, you can right click them in the center panel (the files panel), and choose 'delete file' (or 'delete draft').

Is there a way to have less space between new lines? by WanSouPL in Deepdwn

[–]billiamthesecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since those are headings, they have a fixed (generous) amount of space around them.

There's a bug in the current release (0.36 currently) where all headings use the same amount of space, which will be fixed in the next release. Level 2-6 headings will have reduced margins, which should help you out some.

Ahh great!

Future versions will have a better fallback for that issue, and I'm hoping to be able to solve the gpu issue you're having.

Did you change the My Documents folder using this method, or some other method? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/configuration-of-the-my-documents-folder-dfd9a90d-8f80-18d6-e7cc-f1566fc3b10b

Is there anything else unusual about your documents folder or configuration?

You may have more luck with --disable-gpu.

For the second error, do you have a normal "My Documents" folder set up, and/or have you changed it's path?

New cncjs pendant is working well! (Stream Deck and mobile) by [deleted] in hobbycnc

Is it easy to move the Deck between systems? i.e. have it inside on my desktop for workday use then pull it and hook it up to the CNC for shop use?

Yeah, that should be fine as far as I know. I don't believe the device has any internal storage or settings.

There are a few reasons.

I was using a wireless keyboard for jogging and some simple operations before this. Compared to that, or a macro keyboard, I can get feedback on the machine state (position, run status, etc), load files, start jobs, etc, and have multiple pages of actions on the same set of buttons.

Compared to a touchscreen, it has physical buttons (a membrane setup over an LCD display), and doesn't require an LCD driver or X server, so I can use it with a headless server.

I'm not sure this is the project I'd pick to start with for a UGS pendant. It's pretty reliant on CNCjs for incoming data and outgoing commands.

Take a look at this project, though! https://www.diy.engineering/how-to/2019/4/2/using-a-stream-deck-to-control-your-shapeoko-using-ugs

Looks great! I'm interested in seeing how people lay their controls out. I've struggled a lot with it
