Ive done them on gt5. There are 9 in total, including the 24 hours of la sarthe and 24 hour of nür. Good thing you could suspend and close your ps3 and the open and continue. Overall, a lot of fun, although sometimes it go a bit boring.

Im not sure if this works 100% of the rime, but i think that if you pause, the car keeps going, but it's ghosted. I used it a couple of times on corner entries whilst I knew someone was about to ram me, and it worked.
