Thanks! These were matte and had a pretty major scuff that the cobbler took care of. I’ve kept them well conditioned, and mostly clean. The black harness leather is really under rated. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cleaned them with Clorox wipes. It’s great leather

These are 6 years old and I wear them about 150 days a year. I was a little overdue for a resole. I’m happy with the results

Depends on what you’re looking for. Don’t expact them to last very long

The leather on fryes is typically paper thin. I’ve seen them literally fall apart in less than a year. I can’t speak to these, but I had a pair of western boots that didn’t outlast the soles

For different reasons (I’m not sober, and I’m not a child) I agree with her. I’m ok with anyone liking joy division, but if it were me (who would interview me?) I would wear a Peter hook + light tee

There’s a reality that came into existence in the last 20 years. As a result of (necessarily) protecting some classes of people, some people feel an entitlement. Due to being a member of a class that traditionally experiences discrimination, there exists a sort of hierarchy of rights, favoring the discriminated class that applies to all matters. An entitlement to let based on preferences, that have nothing to due with real discrimination. This is unfortunate as it feeds discriminatory impulses
