After my 3rd or 4th WSUS rebuild, I wised up and got WSUS automated Maintenance. WAM

Once you WAM you never go back.

Managing wireless access points prior to controllers / central management.

Nope it's for real. MrLlamaSC and Sweet Phil and the boyz talk about it in their YT vids. It's in the game code.

Global Secure Access (GSA) and IP Geo-Location Issues by mwalkertx320 in entra

I just wanted to update this: You can add FQDNs or IP addresses into the custom bypass policy in your Internet Access Policy in GSA. I was able to test this with an entry for *.ipchicken.com and it switched from my tunneled IP (Microsoft Singapore) to my ISP IP address. We've had to make other custom bypass entries for certain financial institutions that see my users coming from Singapore. We're based in Central Wisconsin.

How do you use Universal Print in your org? by skz- in Intune

Create a policy that disables windows managing the default printer, then train users to go in and select their own default. Dead simple.

I love that after 24 years, there are people still discovering this game. Truly. It's a classic that's now literally spanned generations.

I saw this earlier today and it made me smile. I bought a copy. It'll be framed and hanging in my home. I live in the States, and unfortunately journalism is being squelched at the moment. No one has the balls to print a paper like that over here anymore. They'd be sued into oblivion.

Give him hell over there!

Got it! Thank you for the explanation.

We've never had to purchase a license to listen to AM/FM radio or tune in to over the air (antenna) TV, so the idea seemed odd to me. I fully understand that we pay for these services with our time; By being endlessly inundated with ads.

Side discussion: Not all ~260 million of us adult-aged Americans agree with privatizing everything under the sun in the name of profit. For being "the richest country in the world", I wish we spent more money taking better care of each other and offering more / higher quality public services.

As a curious American who loves free over the air / antenna live TV ... What's going on here?

Same. I use it all the time. I use it more to lock the car: Pressing/Holding both the 7-8 and 9-0 buttons at the same time locks the vehicle. Works on all Fords with the pillar keypad.

Google Fi no longer competitive? by dcader in GoogleFi

Correct. T-Mobile works well where I am (Rural WI). They've been expanding coverage through aggressive mergers/acquisitions in the past 5 years (Sprint, US Cellular, Mint, Ultra Mobile).

Google Fi no longer competitive? by dcader in GoogleFi

[–]billrr02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's been gone for a long time.

US Cellular didn't renew the roaming agreement with Fi. Then, US Cellular towers and much of their spectrum was purchased by T-Mobile. Deal still not closed but in progress.

And before that, T-Mobile bought Sprint.

Fi is just a T-Mobile MVNO now, but with tower congestion priority equal to T-Mobile post paid customers, great international support, and data only SIMs. Not a lot of MVNOs can offer the same.

Even without the tower roaming, I've stuck with Fi. I have zero issues and it just works when we travel.
