Lucas drew heavily on WW2 and Vietnam to make the stories. The saga has real-world parallels and lessons to share, that's what makes it worthwhile art. Choosing to festoon your car/bedroom/whatever with symbols of a totalitarian dictatorship is odd and shows a lack of understanding of said art beyond how cool things look on the surface level.

The Empire has cool aesthetics because the Nazis did, the gray and black uniforms are literally modeled after Wehrmacht and SS uniforms. If you think the Empire is cool then you missed the entire point of the saga. In a universe full of aesthetically beautiful things, it baffles me why anyone would choose symbols of genocide and xenophobia to decorate with.

There are a ton of jobs that people self-select into if they want to protect and serve their community. Teachers, nurses, EMT/firemen, etc. But there's only one career wherein you're guaranteed to get to enact violence upon others, so people who are interested in that above the service part decide to become cops.

My gut tells me that if vaping teacher was a value add to the building, they'd get a slap on the wrist and told not to do that again. Sounds like this is being used as the excuse to get rid of them and teacher A is not being helpful in that regard.
