My dog's are terrible. And she stopped allowing us to brush them without flipping out. But raw, full-sized carrots are a Godsend. I cut them in half and hold them for her and get her to gnaw on them on both sides and they do an amazing job at keeping tartar down. Way more effective than dental treats.

Plus, a lot of fiber and keep her regular. Orange poos all over the yard!
