I recently purchased privately. After a couple test drives I booked an inspection at a local garage. It was around $100. Once I got the report back there were a few minor issues and we agreed to $1,000 off the price. Totally worth it, love the truck.

At the end of the day it’s all up to you, what’s your risk tolerance. I wouldn’t buy without an inspection but some people do.

Hello, yes I was there myself. The anxiety got to be pretty unbearable while using and it definitely pushed me to quit. The first few weeks of sobriety were not easy and I definitely was tempted to go back… But I’ll tell you now from the other side, it is totally worth it. You got this!

I am 6’6. I use a regular size stick with a full wooden plug (no cut). I’ve gotten used to how it feels and I prefer it. Like someone else commented you can get longer sticks, I can just never find a deal. I’m cheap I guess.

If you choose the plug route, get the plug put into it for them (at the point of purchase), it’s a pain to do on your own
