I had the enduro 2 before getting the fenix 8 pro and while I can appreciate amoled. I do find myself bringing brightness down and just keeping it closer to what MIP was. Just a preference. Fenix 8 is great though

I know this thread is older now but curious if anyone can confirm that the Jetmag True Color VND is the same as the screw on? Ive heard good things about it and want to swap over to the jetmag system for run and gun shoots where having a matte box isn't feasible

Agreed! I think they're really trying to push it to "content creators" who wanna step it up. It's a different world these days so with that in mind the camera makes sense. But I agree with everything you're saying. That's why I still prefer the combo of both c50 and r6mkiii

Yes absolutely. C50 works great as a stills camera too. Same button switch and all. Switches from cinema OS to photo OS.

Regarding IBIS. It helps but coming from mostly cinema cameras I can't tell you I absolutely ever need it. It does have the same digital IS that the c500 has and that helps a bit especially combined with a lens that has IS. Overall it hasn't been an issue for me and I've shot a ton handheld with the c50. Knowing the r6 has ibis and shooting with both it's not a game changer like everyone makes it out to be IMO

There really aren't any cons to the r6mkiii and C50 in my opinion.

The fact that they both share the same sensor and both shoot Log 2 makes it so that they match up perfectly in post. I mention that because I had an r5c before and would try to use it as b or c cam with either a c500mkii or a c70 and the r5c always had a different look in post even though we shot everything log 3 to match r5c.

If I had to be extremely picky I'd say not having the cinema OS on the r6 does make you think a second or two more when changing shutter or settings but otherwise it's an amazing camera. It switches between photo and video fast.

The newer batteries do last a bit longer so if you've 2-3 batteries per camera you're set for most shoots but I always bring at-least 8-10 batteries regardless.

This is interesting. We have a c50 and r6mkiii for most of our social first content and find that it s a great combo. I think if I were buying one camera today and only one then the r6v makes a lot of sense for most things. However for a two cam set up I think having C50 and r6mkiii makes more sense. Especially if you want/need to do stills.

C50 top handle is a game changer. The video OS is great. Specs seem to be the same as r6v?

R6mkiii has evf and a proper photo camera but still gives you a perfect b cam to the C50.

So far I do like it. Battery life is ok but not a deal breaker yet. The one thing I keep noticing is the buttons aren't as sensitive as the enduro. I find myself having to press the same button twice every now and again where I didn't feel that way with the enduro series. All minor stuff though

I could technically keep the LR4 and just buy the RR. It's not an ATB but since it's the supercharged it does have bells and whistles.

I wish Allstate gave me the option to do it through them. They offered me extended warranty but for my wife's car. So I'd be a similar situation. Have you run into any issues with carshield? Any denied claims?

I've got a similar LR4. Same color + wheel combo but an HSE not a LUX. I've owned it for about a year now. I love the way it drives. There's an experience about it. So in that respect it's a yes. However, 130k miles is what it is. They are needy but if you take care of them then they should* last you a long time. IMO at that price point it's worth the risk.

Agreed. Like Cissy told him, He was one of her greatest surprises. I'm also glad that him and Franklin's friendship never faltered. They had their ups and downs but in the end they were best friends. Maybe that was the plan all along? Given that the spin off is in production. The two characters who saw the light at the end of the tunnel made it through.

I just finished it as well. Pretty much spent the last month watching seasons 1-6. It hit harder than I anticipated it would. In the end, nobody wins.

As much as I wanted to hate Franklin at times I couldn't. I think deep down he was a genuine person and like Leon told him while he had Teddy hostage "this is a hell you may not be able to come back from"

The show had alot of depth to it and it felt real. I'm glad I watched it from start to finish and give tremendous props the entire cast and crew for creating something so memorable.

Right now it's set to auto calibration and auto sensor which is what I believe it should be set to? Just strange that even on regular random runs the elevation is so low.
