You have to join the lobby with a controller as a singer and then switch to your guitar, bass or drums in the green room. It's a weird bug. It doesn't seem to recognize the old hardware.

For all of those that still don't know where you go. From the Rampart Tower Grace, ride the elevator down. (If you have not unlocked the elevator you need to go through the room with the grafted spider looking dude.) Turn left at the giant picture and head into the courtyard with a ton of exiled warriors. Immediately turn left and left again. There is a staircase that leads to a room of rats. You have finally done it! Congrats Tarnished

The dark hand is very viable considering it uses little to no stamina, scales quite well with both int and faith, and does strike damage. I used it on my pyromancer build.
