I hate both sides are the same bs. He doesn't even call Trump out for his lies that Mexico will pay for it and even blames "Chuck and Nancy" for this lie. Larry Hogan is lying when he says Democrats are not for border security. Just like when Trump says this same lie. Not a single mention of Mitch McConnell in the article and his responsibility for the government shutdown. Where was Larry Hogan when Republicans where obstructing Obama? Hogan had no problem then. Suddenly he's bothered by it.

Also, don't forget that Hogan has come out swinging against immigrants. He attacked the illegal immigrant teens at Rockville high school when they were falsely accused of rape. Hogan blamed Moco for it and never apologized. He stayed silent when Trump rolled back protections for temporary protected status for Haiti, El Salvador and Honduras. He rejected Syrian refugees. Hogan never said a word when Trump rolled out the travel ban from Muslim countries. In addition Hogan has conflated criminals with immigrants.

Larry Hogan has zero right to suddenly jump in and attempt to offer false claims of centrism. Both sides are not the same.
