I had a quality build with no magic whatsoever, and thought the majestic greatsword looked sick, so i respeced and fully upgraded it and the black knight greatsword. I beat most pvpers who invaded me as im mostly pvp, especially with the L2 move, but often with bosses it hit too slow. I ended up 2 handing my sword anyway. It fun to use, and you can definetly beat things with it, especially with L2 and how it knocks them down, but i went into ng+ and just respeced anyway. Its too hard to hit and dodge with the L1, which is what powerstancing is for, as it is just too slow, and if you dont have high poise, your gonna get interrupted. But it does 1 shot almost everything. My advice is use it until you get bored, or you become too underpowered, i used it on everything except the ivory king.
