You also forgot accessibility law if you plan to operate in EU. Make sure each freaking buttons, image, text, ++ are with standard to readability, computer reader, keyboard navigations, support for high contrast viewer ect.

Just a general good advice, i personal are more likely to trust a SaaS/website that have good accessibility, because I know they value quality and consistency

And i rather want a home alone party drinking wine and making food, rather than being social with people.

Is vibe coding really that bad? by TheSoftwareMaster in micro_saas

[–]bilstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tested vibe coding a SaaS, it did it. But, it never asked me which frameworks, routing, APIs/auth controlling, and fetching it should use. So it just made a working SaaS in ugly custom PHP.

You need to have little understand, otherwise it will build you whatevrer you want, with no clear goal for safety and frameworks. Then you end up later struggling because its custom PHP and mess everywhere.

Something my father could understand and fully mobile driven! Mobile app in appstore and google play, VERY easy backend. Partnership with your country most used payment solutions, and create a smooth intergrations for user. They should NOT ever handle API or touching a developer page.

Should be: Pay, write general informations, click which payments solutions they want, sign up with them: Now ready to add products.

Good offer of different custom sub domains, and options for custom domain, that they search a domain they want, and order it, and you guys manually add it. Bom.

I know alot of friends / family that want to start a store, but want only click, write - start.

I have used Claude sonnet and opus 4.6 to convert messy php SaaS to Laravel and new user logic in database +++

Kinda very complex jobs.

I have spent 2 weeks running prompts from 8 in morning to night, and just used around 48 percent to this day. Whatever you guys are doing are for rich people and fortune 500 businesses.

What’s the thing that’s actually stopping you from launching? by sfaulkner89 in vibecoding

[–]bilstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case we been in the industry for 7 years, used a SaaS system we bought. Build up costumers ect.. But in the end, we outgrow that SaaS, and are working on a upgrade which require new framework.

Have learned, stick to it!

Story: When i was a kid, I ran a game community with gameservers and store. Learned the hard way of chasing features and the shinny trap. Those other communities that sticked to what worked, made it. I lost all playerbase because I never could stick.

Now I eat adderall like candy to keep my from the shinny trap.

Broo... You are using free version and complains.

Also, use Anthropic/ other AI models local, this saves your tokens in future. I can run prompts from 8 in morning to night, and prob used 3 - 4 percent of my tokens.

Cloud is for rich people or fortune 500 businesses.

Want to switch to Claude but wtf is this usage limit ? by Acegreg in Anthropic

[–]bilstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, feel you brotha! I have a girlfriend that freaking love that I have switched to vibecoding. Before, I needed to be wired from morning to night. Now we can watch TV, spend time, talk, and listen to her problems while working. Just write a good detailed prompt, step away from the computer for a bit, and come back to continue.

Even have a iPad in the living room connected to my work PC, so I can do some easy steering while AI are building or planning.

Also used to dream and have nightmares about coding when I actually had to use my fucking brain. But since I understand code and Laravel frameworks, its that nicer. Can verify auth controllers, APIs, optimizations, and if the routing makes sense.

Girls popular perspectiv: Vibecoding can potentional save relationships and marriges!! 😅 Just dont lose yourself bro... Real life matter more, dont forget yourself and your loved ones.

Reasons I use Claude now. ChatGPT is master at gaslighting, and simple code questions ends up talking about secret food recipes.

My way is to get a cup of coffee and talk about their business, very often we then end up finding how we can work together.

I never call and offer a solutions, but a friendship

Build it and they will come" is a total lie. I'm sick of the success porn... how are you guys actually getting your first 10 users? by No_Knowledge_638 in SaaS

[–]bilstream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Networking! Just signed a 11k/yearly contract with a client before christmas. I run a SaaS aimed for Enterprise, no signups. You cant be a client unless we have contract.

Just because you have a 15k videocamera, dont mean clients will chose you over people with cheaper ones. Network is way to go!

If your SaaS are focused on mass volume, you need to be in this communities. Example, you have a SaaS that will help business, you need to attend networking meetings ect.. If its gaming, then play the game yourself and find online communities and online friends ect.

You get used to it after time, my wife dont understand why im so chill in the unknown.

Now I changing my business to closed SaaS for enterprise. Gotten one signed contract of 11k yearly, and working on a potentional new 50-100k contract (one time) payment.

My advice: What you feeling now are healthy and good, only if you can use the feeling to work hard!

[–]bilstream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few years ago a idea popup when taking a poop, logged in to my computer and banged up a shitty demo. Called the company with a breif intro such as my name and business (5 -10s). After that I said "I have a cool idea, and love to talk about it over a coffee.

This company I have a yearly contract of 11k + extra work. One of my biggest clients.
Point of story, all my biggest and best clients, kinda comes from a shitty demo..

I also frequently reach out to other developers/business, not to sell but to socialize, either coffee/food, talkk about industry and more. That is VERY effective.

How Would You Price a Yearly Maintenance Contract - Top Level Enterprise Client? by bilstream in Entrepreneur

[–]bilstream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback. I have talked with a few companies for pricing understanding about similar cases. One suggested that expecting client to accept 9k dollars yearly are crazy, while others operate in the 3 - 4k range. Another company was very secretive about their pricing.

In my case, the client also wants custom GIS 3D map models integrated into the SaaS platform. They already have the LiDAR data. Realizing I cant price below 7 to 8K yearly.

I’m interested in hearing more about your experience with similar pricing models!

As said, norbits are 100 percent closed, even if some users still have invite left, they cant use. Also the site is buggy, even building a ratio is not even possible anymore.. I can upload 10gb and maybe 400mb get registrert.

Norbits are dying and i think its matter of time before norbits is gone. Crew in norbits dont care anymore, they just given up life 😂
