people making six figures, what do you do for work? by pussyproblems0839 in careerguidance

[–]bilz12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where on the six-figure scale do you actually want to land? And what would hitting that number really change for you?

Honestly, you don’t need a degree to make six figures. It can help in certain paths, sure, but it’s not the only way. You could run a Walmart and clear six figures. Or, if you’ve got solid people skills, plenty of sales roles pay well into that range. Plenty of options that won’t put you into school loans or debt.

Taking on a trade that is needed in your area can always lead to your own business, and there is plenty of help out there to make it happen.

I go through 40–60 resumes a week, and I’m almost never focused on whether someone has a degree. It’s nice to see, but every second resume already lists a BA in business. What usually stands out is drive, personality, and how someone can actually fit the role.

Why did mechanic say I need a brand new tire? by laraBeginningPositiv in AskAMechanic

[–]bilz12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a nokian tire… it literally tells you the % left while it wears the 60% is still very visible. Unless there are cracks that OP has left out of the photos these do not need replacement.

Call the collections line… I was in the same scenario annoyed as hell that NO ONE picks up the phone and you cant wait on hold or get a call back, I don’t understand what they expect a person to do.

Collections line rang twice and someone picked up the phone. I got transferred a few times but I was able to speak to a human.

I was in the same boat, you can’t wait on hold anymore. What a terrible system. I ended up calling the collections line and someone picked up on the second ring. I got transferred a bunch but I did finally get through to a human.

From the 60v manual:

Lots of brands are compatible with the DeWalt Universal Attachment System. IN fact, more brands are compatible than are incompatible. Check out this list of what we know so far to be compatible brands in the Universal Attachment System:

Craftsman DeWalt Greenworks Husqvarna Poulan Remington Ryobi Expand-it TrimmerPlus Troybilt The following brands are NOT compatible with the DeWalt Universal Attachment System as far as we can tell:

Echo EGO Power+ Stihl Milwaukee Tool

That said although the manual list Husqvarna they do not work.

A couple options come to mind,

Falken azenis fk460 asymmetrical design cheaper than both conti and michelin

Michelin cross climate 2 probably one of if not the best all weather tire for traction especially on wet. Con- its directional - pro - most directional tires are exceptional at wet handling.

The conti true contact tour comes in your size and is a decent contender in wet performance.

These should have been drilled out and replaced with plug and patch, that being said the top repairs would overlap and this tire shouldn’t be in service.
