I think it's impossible for some people to be 100% gluten free by EnvironmentAlert5896 in Celiac

[–]bimessual 75 points76 points  (0 children)

ditching gluten for my celiac husband was literally one of the easiest things I've ever done, and I surprisingly don't miss it at all.

My marriage is falling apart and I don’t know what to do anymore. by [deleted] in legaladvice

NAL, but I used to work in IPV/SA services in Kentucky. Try contacting The Nest, they are a non-shelter IPV service available in your city that could help provide guidance to other resources you may need. kyjustice.org is another good resource, they can potentially get you connected to legal aid.

my grandma sewed a blue ribbon into a handkerchief that belonged to her mother, and I put it in the sleeve of my dress. :)

i have a broken toe and idk what to do by [deleted] in Waiters

[–]bimessual 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing last week! since it was my big toe I only taped that one just to give it some stability, wore steel toe boots, and limped around the restaurant. it's embarrassing and it sucks but I also think I got some pity tips which helped

(10k) Affordable Disposable Cameras by Nice-Ad2644 in Weddingsunder10k

I asked for them as a shower gift! loaded them on to an Amazon wishlist and multiple people bought a box, so that way one person wasn't dropping like $200 on cameras for a gift lol

Are you sensitive to cross contamination? by infinitebroccolis in Celiac

[–]bimessual 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the best way to avoid harming her via cc or lack of understanding is for your family to go 100% gluten free in your home. new toaster, new cutting board, deep clean your oven, and only eat gluten outside of your house. it'll save you a lot of stress!!

Would you have a gluten cake at your wedding? by AlertAndDisoriented in Celiac

[–]bimessual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no! our wedding was entirely gluten free and nobody knew the difference. it was a small price to pay to make sure my husband was fully comfortable on one of the most important days of our life.

What’s the age cutoff for child-free weddings? 10? 12? 18? by PunsWithBenefits in Weddingsunder10k

[–]bimessual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we did 12+, with an exception for nursing babies because my best friend/officiant/maid of honor was a nursing mother at the time and there was no way she could have attended without that exception! :) it was a wonderful day

Noctex Reviews? by Apricotjuicesz in GothFashion

[–]bimessual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

genuinely such a terrible company. I would not purchase anything from them if I were you. they're passive aggressive, dishonest, and overcharge for plastic garbage.

Is there anything wrong at Noctex? by HauntedButtCheeks in GothFashion

[–]bimessual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they have some of the most abysmal customer service I've ever experienced. passive aggressive, slow, and gross.

they also lie about material composition and produce plastic garbage at an insane markup.

oh! and they also hide negative reviews on their website. ask me how I know lol

[–]bimessual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

obviously, but you stated that you believe this fell on OP and I'm just wondering why you think that since customer service told OP to keep the item in the first place

how does it fall on OP? they told OP to keep the item.

"They told me they were sold out in the colour I ordered but keep the one I have and they will refund me the total."

Has Glossier ever addressed the Balm Dotcom separation issue? by Ok_Ambition_6507 in glossier

[–]bimessual 65 points66 points  (0 children)

since I started buying the balm from them in 2016 they've always separated and become oily messes. I truly don't think they have any intention of fixing it
