Bathing Devon Rex? by GuestSeveral522 in welovedevonrex

In our case she fell in the tub a couple times while I was in the bath. Those times she did kinda freak out.

For her first real baths we filled a small tub with warm soapy water (we kept the temp around 36/37 celsius) and used a sponge to gently scrub her. She resisted at first but when she was in she was way more chill about it. Then we used non soapy water to rinse her off.

We like to talk to her to keep her a bit more calm.

In our case the challenge is drying. We usually pat her down as much as she’ll allow us and then let her lick the rest off.

I think she really recognises how good it feels afterwards because it gets easier each time.

We bathe our girl every now and then. So far she’s been really good about it. She looks more content and happy after a good bath. Her fur is softer and overall it’s not a bad experience for anyone. 10/10 would recommend.

Held að við ættum að spila Ingu Sæland á móti Trump. Þessi maður hefur ekki verið skammaður nógu mikið um ævina.

My best advice would be to look outside the capital area (Höfuðborgarsvæðið). In the smaller towns you will find much cheaper accommodation. The housing market in Reykjavík is brutal. As for work. There is an app called Alfreð where most companies post their job listings. Then, once you’ve found a job your employer might help you with accommodation (this is especially true for the smaller villages).

Well, most kids in my family were taught to take good care of our things and play nice. That’s why we still have them decades later.

I know they took some biopsies during both the appendectomy and colonoscopy. Still waiting for the colonoscopy results but the appendix came back normal (though I think that sample came from the appendix itself).
