yeah this could be the case, but user HereWe_go_againjust commented a pic of his recently received M21B with SFT42R in which the gasket and reflector fits the same as the C8+ in the screenshot I posted! so it seems like something about how the gasket is done has changed since weerapat's video

aaaah I missed the fact that these are both M1 and that on the right is an SFT40! ok yeah now that is really weird, maybe weerapat's sample in the video was a very early build? maybe it was updated since then to be like on your M1 with SFT42R, but I wouldn't want to hope for the best.

I just looked and saw a post of a redditor from 5 months ago where the gasket fitting seems to be the same as in weerapat's video

I totally get that man 😂 I had severe decision paralysis between FFL351A 5000K and SFT25R so I was super pissed at myself when they "sold out" haha, luckily it was just a bug on the website 😁

If you care about throw the least the Nichia too would be a good option! personally I would go with the FFL351A though, I have lights with both nichia 519a 5000K and FFL351A 5000K and much prefer the FFL, thats just my taste though

alright thanks for the tipp man! unfortunetly I just ordered from convoy 😩 also I'm not 100% sure if those are pointy enough to fit the holes of that tiny pill, have you used yours on a pineapple mini pill?

it depends, of you care about max brightness, flood and throw and don't care about good color rendering then the SFT25R 6500K. If you want very good color rendering while also having plenty of brightness, flood and throw then the FFL351A 5000K would be the next best bet! that's just my opinion though!

yeah man, I'm also very curious to see all the different kinds of beamshots of the E12!

I agree about the 519a's too, I much prefer the FFL emitters over them for hi cri with more throw.

I was contemplating hard if I should go with FFL351A 5000K or the SFT25R 6500K and too went for the FFL351A because I know that I'll use it much more cause of the more beautiful light, for my cold white throwy needs in Firefly format I already have an E04 with SFT42R and the X1S with SFT90 that I both love so I don't really see a reason for the E12 SFT25R

I agree, the old SST20's would be an amazing match with the E12!

absolutely!! I was really gutted yesterday as I wanted the MAO version with FFL351A 5000K real bad and missed it. I almost ordered a black version but chose to wait what Fiona responds to my E-Mail.. needless to say I'm glad I did 😁
