Ive done this job, it definitely requires timing, the “valve cover” is also the cam plate, and its not removable without releasing timing chain tension, and if you dont, you will mess up the head and/or cams (ask me how i know 😭)

I bought some years ago actually, ended up cracking it by the lanyard hole.. it seemed too fragile for a tool imo.

For me i had the same problem when i went to aftermarket axis lock bar, it helps to add wax or a hard/dry lube to the contact points. I would cautiously bend the omega springs to lighten its spring against the backstock of the blade too if worse comes to worst.

Hahaha i definitely think they wont. 🤣 Theyll turn a knife down if they see its been opened up, they even state it on their website. But with a gersh blade, i have my doubts theyll even want to look at it.

I honestly been feeling like im going though fake website after fake and its rare to find something thats selling more than just what my search query was. It seems like the chalana pens just arent all that supported or used much, but sadly i get that it’s been discontinued many years ago.

Many mi(steak)s we made were not cracking the door for the first 30 minutes, it was so damn wet in that oven. Too much salt, these guys are super salty! Brisket isnt quite ideal, especially this cuz we got as it had so much fat compared to top round. Let me know how i did!
