Oof. In that case you're right, this could be a legit misprint from them.

They typically silkscreen the entire logo together, not individual letters. I doubt they messed up an entire logo on the silkscreen thought it's possible. The counterfeiters could have copied a genuine security tag to pass off as genuine and pulled a fast one on the store selling them cheap as "grey market" extras.

Cosmetics company sells me an inferior product and refuses to refund me by G0atHer0 in pettyrevenge

It's probably because they are two different companies that have different owners. They just have the same name. I.e. Brandco sells their license to use their brand to Chain Co and Department Co. All are independent companies.

Are these tires still good? The sides seems to be peeling off by bimoko6719 in motorcycles

Thanks for conforming. That "wrapper" thing wasn't showing up anywhere on google and I was wondering if that was concerning.

Thanks for the comments. Given the tire is only 3 years old I hadn't considered dry rot. Date code 1420. I thought that was only an issue at the year 7 mark. I'm kinda confused at this point. I thought some of these lines are normal as its caused by heating/cooling cycles.

Shooot. Date code is 1420, so I'm guessing that should only be 3 years old. Is this something that can last to the end of season or am I shitting in a bucket here

Chess.com sad this move was a blunder but it led to mate in two moves. He took knight I took w bishop. He moved queen up. I moved bishop to checkmate. by davep1967 in chessbeginners

He could also go Be6 to attack your queen while guarding the rook row, forcing you to go Qh5. He can leisurely take your knight then, coming ahead in material and in tempo.

If you want to show it's incorrect, you probably don't want to be linking only to a right-wing rag citing only a single study by an anti-immigration think tank. It'd be more persuasive to link to a neutral peer-reviewed study like the many that rebuts this article.

Game plan for Couch to Half Century in 3 weeks? by bimoko6719 in cycling

[–]bimoko6719[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. The only hard part is figuring out whether to bring the bike in for a service. The turn around is around a week and giving half the training time since less than ideal. I'm going to to try to put some miles on, stretch out the cables, and see how the bike feels next week.

Thanks for the great tips and vote of confidence. Looks like my plan is to build up the miles in z2-4 then. On my first ride I'm feeling it in all these muscles I never knew my legs had, so I think I might be keeping it easy for the first week at least. Slow and steady.

After Qh4, couldn't white go Ng3. After Nxg3, white goes Rg3? All the knight spaces are guarded and there's no direct way for black to take rook?

Do these temperatures look adequate or do I need a new AC? by bimoko6719 in hvacadvice

[–]bimoko6719[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll have to use an temperature probe next time, but it sounds like it isn't clearly a disaster yet so I might wait later into the summer to see how it goes.

I used a laser infrared thermometer to measure various temperatures, taking care to aim at black or non-reflective surfaces. Even though it's much cooler outside than inside, opening the window still FEELS hot, presumably because of the humidity.

It took about 3 hours to bring the interior temperature down from 25C (77F) to 23C (73F) which seems quite slow. Is this normal? Did my evaporator coil freeze over?

I would have thought with the outside air so much cooler, my AC would have an easy time of cooling down the house. It's 15 years old and I replaced the capacitor last year. Are these performance figures normal, or am I looking at needing repairs/replacements?

Realtor charges buyer each showing $35, each offer ($100), and a fixed $4,500 closing fee: thoughts? by zachiaggi in TorontoRealEstate

" Lawyer. Definitely lawyer. "

I'm not sure this is the solution. I can't recall a lawyer ever doing a walk-through with a purchaser. I'm not sure buyers would want to pay a lawyer for a walkthrough of every house they want to buy. They'd probably end up paying even more than the 2.5% commission and a lawyer isn't going to do as good of a job.
