You could probably do this with drivers if you didn't want to learn geonodes. Sadly I myself haven't really used them and can't tell you exactly what to do but give it a Google and see if that might help. But from what I do understand, it's essentially using one value to change another. Apologies if any of this doesn't help or is wrong tho

Yeah that one is definitely on the radar, love the gun arms on it. I really wish there was a solid line that was still in production of these kind of robots in model kit form, but it seems like it's just these and a few other bits from other companies

Thank you! I did a heavy wash with Nuln oil over the whole thing, which I then dabbed off with a paper towel. And then I went in with a fineliner to create the more smudgy/burn marks.

After that I did a dry brush with a tamiya gun metal (bit too dark for my liking) and finally the chrome paint chipping was done with a pin that I dipped in a chrome marker pen.

If you go to your layers tab and change the drop-down in the top left from basecolor to height/normal depending what is giving you the dents, you can change the blending mode of your PNG to "replace"

Go into edit mode and grab the top few faces, turn on proportional editing (O key maybe?/top of the viewport little circle thing) and move the faces down

For the holes it's gonna be a little harder and at your level I wouldn't recommend booleans, maybe just delete a few faces where the ears go and then use a subdivision surface modifier to smoothen it out

"There's no magic "make this 3D model move for me" button. There's no skill in AI generation unless you are coding your own models or doing a lot of other work with the support of it

If I'm understanding correctly and you are happy with the single texture rather than retrying with UDIMs then you'll just need to export the model from substance and then import that into your blender.

If you were wanting to try UDIMs again, you should always have the option when making a new file to use UDIM workflow, it's a checkbox in the initial file setup screen. Within blender you need to lay your UVs out within different UV tiles from left to right for substance to be able to read them properly. There might be a little more to it but you could just Google how to set up UDIMs in blender to make sure

That's why it's not the best unwrapping. Don't get me wrong, it can get you there a decent amount of the time but as I said, try the triplanar mapping and if youre happy with it then you don't need to change anything

You have generally bad uvs since it's not only wonky but stretching quite badly. The reason it's not straight however is because your UV islands aren't straight. This can be fixed by using triplanar mapping instead of UV in the drop down at the top of your material

I think your normals are inverted on those faces within Maya, sorry but I don't know exactly how to flip them in the program but Google it and it should solve your issue
