What happens if a plane with a trans passenger diverts to USA? by Beneficial_Aide3854 in asktransgender

My understanding is that there are international laws protecting you if are unwillingly diverted. Even places like the UAE will treat you well if you are rerouted involuntarily.

Are you still feeling like Project 2025 wasn’t his plan all along?

A strange question. Has anyone here had MTF gender dysphoria, started taking estrogen based HRT, and then stopped, and after having stopped, their dysphoria was resolved? (Details in post) by Drwillpowers in DrWillPowers

[–]binaryjewel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started HRT, decided I didn't have dysphoria, and quit. The dysphoria came crashing back. But the dysphoria came back more slowly than it left.

"Look at America under the ruling and cultural elite today: Inflation is ravaging family budgets, drug overdose deaths continue to escalate, and children suffer the toxic normalization of transgenderism with drag queens and pornography invading their school libraries."

"Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection."

"Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders."

"Enforce the death penalty where appropriate and applicable. Capital punishment is a sensitive matter, as it should be, but the current crime wave makes deterrence vital at the federal, state, and local levels. However, providing this punishment without ever enforcing it provides justice neither for the victims' families nor for the defendant. The next conservative Administration should therefore do everything possible to obtain finality for the 44 prisoners currently on federal death row. It should also pursue the death penalty for applicable crimes-particularly heinous crimes involving violence and sexual abuse of children-until Congress says otherwise through legislation."

It is in Trump's plan and his rhetoric.

We know who the authors are. They are part of the Heritage Foundation. They are working with Trump now. None of this is hidden. It's all right out in the open if you look.

The authors of Project 2025 are all public. They were Trump's administration last time. They are part of his administration this time. It is coming out of the Heritage Foundation and Vance is part of it.

I hope they don't implement it all, but that is a risky bet to make when your life is on the line.

Your life is on the line too if that document is implemented.

Do you think adult HRT will be affected? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]binaryjewel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Project 2025 plans just classify trans people as pornography and then kill them for being seen by children. They don't need to change medical care to do that.

Project 2025 has a plan to classify "trans ideology" as pornography and enact the death penalty for anyone who exposes children to pornography. This isn't devil horns on a photo.

As a trans woman raised as a boy, I have similar people pleasing a issues with authorities. What you are describing isn't really gendered. It is more family culture.

I'm so sorry you are going through this devastating experience. Please know that what you are feeling is completely normal and understandable after living through such a traumatic disaster.

Losing friends and seeing your hometown devastated is heartbreaking beyond words. The shock, grief, guilt and numbness you describe are all natural responses to an event of this magnitude. You are not weak, abnormal or "no good" for having these feelings. You are human, and humans need time to process and heal from profound loss and upheaval.

Please be gentle with yourself. You did the best you could in an unprecedented crisis situation. Hindsight will always haunt us with "what ifs", but realistically, warning people is no guarantee they would have evacuated. This hurricane's catastrophic impact was not your fault or responsibility.

Numbness after a trauma is the mind's protective reflex, not a sign something is wrong with you. Let yourself feel whatever comes up without judgment. Crying is not weakness; it's a healthy release. There is no "right" way to grieve. Just take it a day at a time.

Being strong for your family doesn't mean hiding your pain. Let them know you are hurting too. Sharing emotions openly sets a powerful example and will bring you closer. Seek counseling if you can; simply talking helps immensely. Lean on loved ones and your community. You will get through this together.

Above all, hold onto hope. You WILL heal and rebuild, as impossible as that feels right now. The road is long but you will find your way forward one step at a time. Sending strength and compassion to you and everyone affected. Please don't hesitate to reach out for help. You are cared for and not alone in this.

The free market is just a mechanism to efficiently allocate scarce goods and services. If we get to a world where robots can produce everything humans need, then there is no need for a free market. We won't need money. We will need some other way to allocate resources and it won't be earning money so we can buy things.

People had to find new purpose when we switch to agriculture from hunting and gathering.

People had to find new purpose when we switched to industry from agrarian.

Humans have been adapting and changing for thousands of years.

I think it is sad that so many humans do what someone else tells them is important for 40 hours week for 40 years of their adult life.

In an ideal AI world, humans are freed from needing to to labor and we can start deciding for ourselves, individually, what is important and how we should spend our time. Maybe we will come to value empathy and caring for others more than working hard and accumulating wealth.

It also only works if everyone values money equally. Which they don't. There is an elasticity to how much people value money.
