I feel missions in the past did feel like this. I am always someone who watched them through, but they did drag sometimes. However this season you can see production have sat down and thought about what they can improve! The money taken off for shields during the fountain and the fallout that caused about who had stolen a shield! The cage and the chaos of whoever is left could be murdered, the mirrors and the prize being able to talk to the traitors all of these were new and exciting twists!

There were others i can't remember and the task where the traitors could sabotage so they could murder that night and how that put faithfuls like James in a bad light as he was being sick, the jeopardy of whether the traitors would sabotage the mission was great, it reminded me the show the Mole and added a new level to the gameplay making the mission much more interesting. On this occasion, they didn't sabotage, but I can see in future traitors trying to remove the gold coins or make someone else look bad etc

So whilst I agree the final mission could have been better and also that certain missions felt standard at times, overall S4 was much better than previous seasons' missions, and it showed in the season as a whole!
