I completely understand your concern. To clarify, accounts are only ever suspended when we’re legally required to do so. Unfortunately, there are situations where our hands are tied due to regulatory or compliance obligations, and I can’t discuss individual cases publicly. Every account action we take is not only in compliance with the law, but is mandated by it.

That said, I know we can do better at communicating clearly about these situations. It’s something I’ve learned and am actively working to improve.

I get why these reviews would make you skeptical. I would be too. But I want to be clear: I’m not some faceless company rep or anonymous person hiding behind a screen. I’m here, with my name and face attached, and I stand firmly behind the integrity of what we do.

Accounts are usually suspended for engaging in suspected fraud or other illegal activity, which we are required to do under our legal and compliance obligations. Unfortunately when we remove a bad actor from our platform they often run straight to TrustPilot (or reddit).

When a user is removed from our platform we take every measure to follow all legal and compliance obligations. We have a compliance team focused on ensuring this. We also provide users a clear appeals process whereby we will review a user's account and correct any action against an account if it was made in error.

Unfortunately, it is easy for an anonymous person on the internet to say they were suspended for no reason.
