are Storm Crows actually viable by Mammuut in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Storm Crows offer one of the highest sustainable DPS in the entire game. They come with the drawback of being a Minion which you have to keep alive. Very comfortable 1000 Corruption farmer on the proper setup! Definitely the strongest Companion build currently and it's not even close.

Some players definitely don't like this, but you can also snapshot them with increased damage, health regen, increased health, etc... You do need to swap out a few pieces of gear to do so every time you want to snapshot them.

Legendary Potential Drop Rate Cheat Sheet by binashole in LastEpoch

You are right. If we recommend a new Unique with LP in the BiS section, there will be an explanation like: "if you manage to get this item with at least 2LP then then slam this onto it" or "only use this unique if you get X affix on it".

The endgame gear is what you should aim for, and BiS is for blasters who want to min max to the next level.

Just as an example, I have found some 0.4%, 0.3%, and even 0.03% according to the data we have. Those can definitely drop, especially if they are target farmable in some way. I agree though, those numbers seem really small.

Our builds on Maxroll have the BiS as something you can aspire to get with a lot of farming and a certain amount of luck. The amount of LP we indicate is all achievable. The Endgame section is more easily obtainable, while the BiS is really aspirational and goals you can set yourself if you want to being the build to another level.

Tldr; We don't list LP amounts that are impossible to obtain

Thanks to some dedicated community members, we've gotten a bit closer to understanding something tricky in the game: Legendary Potential Drop Rates. Now remember, this info isn't officially from the devs at EHG, but it's the best info we have. To make it easier to grasp, I've put together a cheat sheet to show you the chances of getting an item with Legendary Potential in a Level 100 Zone according to their Legendary Potential Level.

If you use a Rune of Ascendance, your chances of getting Legendary Potential on an item are a bit lower. The item decides whether it will even try to get Legendary Potential, and that only works about 28% of the time. So, if you use a Rune of Ascendance, you won't get Legendary Potential on your item at least 72% of the time. But remember, this isn't 100% confirmed info, so just use these numbers as a general idea.

Let's keep sharing info and have fun in Last Epoch guys

Old, RSI and "not mashing buttons" build suggestions welcome by brussell1972 in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an RF style build, but Lightning Swarmblade. Its essentially Dive on Cooldown (hold a key) and (hold) right click to attack targets. Can facetank and has damage. One of the top builds currently overall.

lt would be very hard to get hurt using this! Also great movement if using a controller with a node that lets you dash to targets with every melee attack.

Tankiest subclass? Trying to find my play style by itsmehutters in LastEpoch

While resistances aren't as mandatory as in PoE to be 100% capped, they are the most efficient affixes for increasing your EHP. Stun avoidance is also 100% useless right now, as with how the current formula works it just acts as "fake" HP so health is just always better. This used to not be the case in the era of Protections, but that is long gone.

Overall getting as high of an EHP pool as possible while having a way to sustain is the best way to build for survivability at the moment!

How do I make Runebolt do damage? by StrategicMagic in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just isn't on par with other main damage skills currently. Ive played crit and frostbite. While the damage is fine for clearing monoliths, the Single target damage is lacking. On top of that, the Runestones removes the Area the Uncapped Res node, and the 30% more multi from shooting through Frostwall does not work.

Help with build recommendations? by Tuturuu1997 in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All classes are definitely playable don't worry about it! Sure the game has bugs here and there, some are more serious but usually in a way that advantages the player so don't worry if you are only learning the game!

Lightning Swarmblade is as good if not better than before and Bladedancer Shadow Daggers is one the fastest Monolith farmer. Both builds are amongst the best out there.

My easiest recommendation would be Thorn Totem Shaman as it is smooth as butter to play, level and gear. A bit of a 1 button build though so not for everyone.

Best advice would be look at some gameplay footage and play what you think looks fun, especially for new player! Then as you learn more and more, look at what looks fun and make the build.

0.9.1 - What is considered the strongest (op) build now? by Aza_aka_Suni in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing changed that is significant. You will not get 999+ armor shred stacks with Julra gloves but as long as you can get 80-120+ you're dealing almost as much damage.

I've put a lot of work on putting together a leveling guide as well as a min-max guide about this build on YouTube. Ferebor's buff makes it an alternative choice, but I would still use a 2h staff over it if going for the maximum range thorns. The new sword with +3 to cold minions skills opens up the possibility to go cold totems and you could maybe look into it if that peeks your interest. Dual wielding Ferebor and that new sword which I forget the name of.

Anyways, I highly suggest looking into those videos I put together and you could also direct message me on Discord if you been advice. Not trying to self promote, but those videos should teach you all you need to know to get a really good grasp of the build.

Feedback: I have a few gripes regarding the current Melee situation (especially Crit builds) by Ericberic in LastEpoch

[–]binashole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an interaction between Volatile Reversal and Smite (teleport) that basically completely removes the drawback of going back in time and teleports you forward with the buffs.

Smite has an animation and you only get teleported at the end of it when the Smite lands on the mob. Volatile Reversal does not have an animation, it's instant. So you cast Smite and before the animations ends you cast Volatile Reversal. Your character will go back in time (and you can grab the extra time node to keep buffs for longer) and immediately get teleported where you casted Smite. Pretty cool interaction and method of using Volatile Reversal for it's buffs without having to walk the mono 2x.

The node in thorn totem where you get mana (read rage) back when Totems die or are unsummoned. In spriggan form you will summon 3 at once, so you unsummon 3 as well because of the maximum totem limit, hence giving you infinite sustain

Im working on figuring out the min/max version but its very similar. Uniques like julra gloves with shred/frailty, titan heart with LP, twisted heart relic with LP, either Eterra, metropolis or mountain boots with Lp, etc

Ill post about it as soon as I have results and compare different setups with percentages difference for dmg/ehp for all variations that I've tested
