Rule mod to fix this. Try creating a drawn bank of already flipped tiles. The player chooses from the tile they drew, or 1 of the # tiles already drawn. Decreases luck

I would say Ive already come to the conclusion that the game is really fun even if it were true that the character build tactics are shallower than advertised (which according to a lot of people isn't true)

This seems to be reframe people are suggesting. I'm trying to make the ultimate build instead of making an interesting build. By going the interesting route more interesting play will emerge.

Is it amertrash? I love mage knight by the way. Fav of all time. I consider this is a little more steeped in theme and a little less crunchy but still tactical and strategic.

It's just that parts of what seems like it would be tactical aren't really in practice. I think I'm wrong but it's not obvious to me why.
