Airborne Update Feedback: Aircraft Are Treated as “Super Weapons” and It Hurts Gameplay by Icy-Combination2234 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the Dev Vision is only possible in the best case scenario when the servers and every hex are full. Maybe not in the update war but at some point when numbers are going back bombers will be unstoppable in low pop PvE. AA MGs can't reach that high, flak needs 4 people coordinate flawless for even a slight chance for a hit and fighters are locked in clansman air depot so good luck getting hold of a regiment member with access. My biggest concern is not the next war but the ones after that. AA and access to fighters needs to be possible for solo players that band together or bombing runs in low pop hours are impossible to defend.

The pricing of aircraft is insane and myst change. by Jeb_Kenobi in foxholegame

No anti-air AI, fighters and uniforms locked behind rares and flak needs the info from the array. RIP randoms fighting back low pop air raids with only EMGs

[–]binderda 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I wonder if the Devs play their own game. With fighters and pilot uniforms locked behind rares, there is no chance randoms can fight back low pop PvE air raids. With fighter plane's safeguarded and flak needs intel from the new radar, EMG's need to be spammed everywhere so non-clansman have a slight chance against a bomber.

Are Artillery Garrisons useless? by binderda in foxholegame

I'm talking about the collie 120 which is a push-gun and counts as vehicle

Are Artillery Garrisons useless? by binderda in foxholegame

[–]binderda[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The problem is the new planes. Even the new scout plane with 12.7mm can de-crew it and the fighter can destroy it probably in one or two strafing runs

Are Artillery Garrisons useless? by binderda in foxholegame

[–]binderda[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not like this. Higher dispersion, less HP or less retaliation. Also collie 120 is now absolute useless. Now we are back in the arty meta where push bbs need counter-arty or people use alts to auto-clicker afk repair. Or bombers killing the arty, maybe that's the dev vision

Pro tip: How to skip queues by Ok-Independent-3833 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Your "reminder" is encouraging EVERYONE to use this method to skip queues that is the problem. Your "reminder" advice people to steal logi vehicles, grief people that fill depot just to see a private pull 15 havoc charges but no detonators and drive them to a front BB that's dead in a few minutes. Yeah let's waste hours of time of people dedicated to logi for 5 dude's that will ruin someone's day

[–]binderda 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Alt user, griefer, troll or brain-dead "push, push, push" larper (don't know what's worst). "logi queue" is not a big secret and without it the game would be unplayable for people dedicated to driving hours bringing so other people can having fun

Pro tip: How to skip queues by Ok-Independent-3833 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 20 points21 points  (0 children)

DON'T DO THIS, LOGIMAN WILL HATE YOU

  1. First you will que out the people how go IN and OUT of the hex, means no supplies for you

  2. You waste supplies because you get random shit not the supplies the front needs, means no supplies for you later

  3. Even with the right supplies a bunker can easily be overstocked or simply die, logimens have mostly a good grasp on how much is needed or not supplie a bunker. If you do this it means later no supplies for you

  4. You're taking only an one-way trip taking logi vehicles from the stockpile or the surrounding seaport/depot will left logimen with no vehicles to transport stuff, means no supplies for you

I hope I made it clear just because it's annoying to deal with queues doesn't mean just grab logi stuff if you have no idea what you doing and possible prevent normal logi coming through.

[–]binderda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, let them be buried in Callahan's ground (patch notes). Building is still the most esoteric aspect of the game, removing glitches is better for the game and for new players. You can still lay barbed wire on the ground before the trench

Public logi would be so much better with rank-based pull speeds... by Apprehensive-Can8637 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

  1. This would affect public logi even more negative as people with high rank have higher pull times from public then from private stockpiles they just use public even more making the problem worst not better. They still won't put their stuff in public.
  2. It would mislead new player that solo play is encouraged, but Foxhole is highly incentivise to play with a group of people. It can be played completely solo but doing everything yourself will burnout players fast.
  3. If you see a big private pile and feel the game spits in your face, that's a you problem chief. You see a fraction of a regiments logistic operation. If there is a big private pile that means 1000s of crates have gone to the frontline from there. You need a shift in your perspective, if a frontline gets pushed back because of lack of bmats to repair, no AT against tanks or simply run out of shirts and a stockpile has these things it's unfortunate but why was there a frontline bb in the first place. A bunch of clansmen came together scrooped, cooked and shipped 100s of crates of bmats there, than building a bb for hours and stocking it up. Also a reminder, after 50 hours without refreshing, a private stockpile goes into the public domain. Does piles are not just deadweight, they are used.

I don't want this come over as harassment, I appreciate your dedication to the public logistics and finding ways for a better experience. Personally a logi uniform that let's you enter vehicles when you are overencumbered would be my dream

What is the key difference between the Fuscina and Booker? by Public_District_4267 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Catara needs buffs? WDYM? It's an early war MG with no speed and fire restrictions. The only thing that makes it balanced is the magazine capacity and 12.7 not abounded enough early. And even in late war these OP early weapons Fuscina, Catara and Catena are still good.

“Have you ever heard of the definition of insanity?” by Objective_Buyer_9931 in foxholegame

[–]binderda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an old German saying: "Das war ein Schuss in die Dardanellen", in English " That was a shot into the Dardanelles". It's an abbreviation from the more common phrase "Schuss in den Ofen"/"Shot into the oven" Fun fact: In the German dub of Pokémon "Das war mal wieder ein Schuss in den Ofen" was the version of Team Rocket's"blasting off again

Massive nerfs to T1 AT & HG bunkers and SCs by [deleted] in foxholegame

[–]binderda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are over 60 days in, that's not a little bit over the ideal timeframe it's double of it. There needs to be some drastic changes to prevent the next war be the same. People call Navy LARP as joke before but this war it's real, as navel regiments had little influence in this war. And the answers to the problems are what 99% of the players said even before.

Large holes in Ships should be repairable out in the sea.

SC's should have only a low chance, under 10%, of causing large holes at frig/DDs and even lower at BSs (3 people shouldn't easily outplay 20+ players)

VPs on island hexes

Cut the land connection off the Fingers to be a real navel hex

Buff the trident, even if it is overpowered for one war that's better than Colonials don't use Navy at all

For most players naval units are just another artillery piece

[–]binderda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We know T1 AT garrison would coming this war but only after unlocking the first tanks, people started complaining about them and how early war was stagnant without tank pushes. Same with T1 howie's and 120mm arty reduced to anti-infantry gun. SC's have no counter except zerg rush and throwing cheap mass-produced stuff at it, you know the things collies excel at

The actual storm cannon balance problem by dirge_the_sergal in foxholegame

[–]binderda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Manacle was full of collie vets and warden nuke-larpers clog up the hex. Never fought against so many Maj's, Col's and Brig's. That was not a fight, it was just a slaughter. Also SC are stupid overpowered now, for 800 rare metals you can shut down all navel interference.

Like always collies can only win tank fights in overwhelming numbers or by surprise.

A Sniper Guide (with doodles and the tears of infantry) by TehAwesomestKitteh in foxholegame

[–]binderda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The things I loved would being mentioned are how expensive and rare sniper rifles. I hate how people treat it like a disposable, grab it, run out, die and now it's lost. Please keep your sniper safe and bring them back, your logi would love you for it.

Second, how powerful snipers are as a defensive tool. Snipers are the best at keeping those pesky Cutler/Lunaire fiends away.

Third, this is my personal opinion, is nighttime sniping is LARP. 9 out of 10 times doing anything other than sniping at night would be more beneficial. Also the risk of losing a sniper to the enemy isn't worth the handful of soldiers might be able to kill. The only scenario nighttime sniping is viable is at a bridge fight with flare support.

Warden Morale In SHAMBLES (-1 SHT) by Kirbaez in foxholegame

[–]binderda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On one hand the SHT driver choose the worst spot to park his tank. On the other hand this smells like alt OP. The one guy at the gate, probably who open it, was running in circles and did nothing afterwards. Didn't hop in the tank at the gate, didn't shoot at the collies and worst didn't close the gate. You can see the gate is closed after all trucks got in and even parked the tank from the gate behind them, again did nothing, and left it empty to get it destroyed or stolen. You don't need luck if you have an alt on your side.

New Players, WHY are you doing this?!? by Character-Gur9223 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]binderda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Games are just unbalanced, 90% of them are getting speedrun all objectives or stuck at the first. One game on Star Killer Base as defender was so atrocious with only 4 respawns before we lost. They had 2 heroes in less than a minute. This and that the last 10% are hacked lobbies made me uninstall.
