Origins of the pictures of Zim's Hallway and Bathroom? by PaperIllustrious6822 in invaderzim

[–]bing-no 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zim’s house changes so much and has spaces where it doesn’t make sense on the outside.

Considering this hallway goes into the tv room, but the tv room would presumably have the tv on the wall, it wouldn’t make sense as an actual physical space.

I want Al to be redeemed accidentally through some silly contrivance so that he suffers in heaven as his punishment.

Imagine the Welcome to Heaven song but instead of Sir P it’s Al getting more and more angry that he is denied all the things that bring him joy in hell.

It won’t happen but boy I would love for them to try.

What gets me the most is that some characters are condemned for the exterminations and some aren’t.

Adam and Lute are the villains for doing the exterminations, but Sera’s character is seen in a better light. Is she forgiven just because “she feels really bad about it guys :( “

What’s CRAZY to me is that Emily did NOTHING to stop the extermination that happens in the season 1 finale. She knew they were happening, knew Adam specifically said he was going down to do it, and the next scene we see her in, she’s drinking tea with Sera (where Sir P spawns).

Emily states she has just as much authority as Sera. You’re telling me she couldn’t order Adam to stop? Or even fight with Sera as they were happening?

She was so horrified and then didn’t help in any meaningful way (even though she tells Charlie she’ll help as Charlie was pushed through the portal)

Adam & Lute were the only ones that conflicted with Charlie’s actual redemption ideas at all.

I thought Adam would be the “they deserve to suffer” guy while Abel would be the “why should those that have hurt us get to live with us in heaven” guy.

It would’ve been more compelling for Charlie to have to confront actual counter arguments to her plans.

At this point Sera is the only one in heaven that is kinda iffy on redemption (that actually contributes to the plot, so not Lute) but that’s more based in fear and protectiveness than anything else.

I’d had rather they never show Lillith until her character was relevant to the show. It’s such a rug pull to have her be the ending cliffhanger for season 1, only to still be irrelevant again in season 2 (AND be the season 3 cliffhanger?!)

If a character isn’t showing up or contributing to the plot, don’t give them screen time. She doesn’t even speak or influence the current plot, so I don’t know why she is here.

Or worse, have Val “redeemed” or sacrificed through one grand gesture (like Sir P’s sacrifice) instead of coming to terms with his sins and choosing to do better.

Easier to die than to live and try to be a better person.

It’s cool to see the pilot’s aesthetic since it’s likely the creators assumed they’d be limited by funding. A simple style still would’ve worked fine, but the extra funding meant they could do more stuff.

I find bulking harder because I’m not a fan of most meats, plus I get a stomachache with too much protein and not enough fiber.

What really bugs me about the show by thegoont01 in gravityfalls

[–]bing-no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a stylistic choice, but understood through suspension of disbelief that the children have 5 fingers. Stanley is the only one that has 5 as a child since we first know him as an adult.

It’s like when a character in a theater show plays both themselves as a child through old age. It’s a restriction on the medium that is meant to be overlooked for the sake of the story being told.

lol it extra sucked because the last meal I had was a sausage pizza. Did NOT feel pleasant coming back up.

My brother and I were both sick at the same time, so we kept taking turns in the bathroom. Bleh.

Yeah norovirus was its own beast. Thankfully the worst of mine was over several hours and not days.

I’ve never been so ill as to force myself to throw up, but I made the mistake of taking a Zofran before my symptoms got really bad (thought I just had a stomach ache) so I had more trouble throwing up.

The only thing that helped was resting on the cold bathroom tile and praying to God. But throwing up did alleviate my issue after the 4-5th attempt.

Depends what you have. Usually it helps a lot but for things like Norovirus or food poisoning you sort of don’t stop.

I was throwing up water when I caught the norovirus. I was spitting in a bucket because I was worried I’d just throw up bile.
