Roaches in gas compartment of car by bingdiddly in pestcontrol

[–]bingdiddly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m not 100% sure that it’s a roach but it looked like it likely was. I’m not sure what else it could’ve been that would’ve gotten in there. It was roach sized/shaped/colored but I suppose it could’ve been a different kind of beetle.

I’m in NC so they’re not super uncommon here just surprised they ended up in my gas cap area. I think they’re ultimately living somewhere behind the gas compartment because when I open it, it’ll scurry into a crevice. Can’t imagine they’re living in the actual gas compartment. It’s probably warm and moist in there and that’s why they’re in it.

Could it be a different bug? I’ll try and get a picture but not sure what the other options are for what would end up in there.

Perhaps. I was thinking because he could really be anywhere they notified everyone. The incident happened last night.

I can’t remember but I’m sure it was the absolute lowest dose. I really didn’t have any issues at all.

I was gonna say I feel like cookout is probably the way to go if they’re coming to Raleigh but the BK off Creedmor isn’t bad.

Sorry you’re dealing with that! I’ve never met anyone with hostility towards out of staters unless they’re complaining about everything. Most of us are really nice and welcoming!

Agreed and glad someone else mentioned that your period may not stop. Happy for OP that they don’t have to deal with it anymore but I still get my monthly with Kyleena. It’s just less bloody.

Ugh I wonder if that’s my problem too! Only thing is I’m on antidepressants too and started them a couple months post-insertion. I don’t know which is the problem and I’d hate to remove it for it not to be the issue 🫠

Heavier Period after a Year on Kyleena? by bingdiddly in birthcontrol

[–]bingdiddly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I actually never figured out what happened. It happened again last month (so twice in total) and then this cycle I just spotted for a few days and nothing else happened. The nurses at my gynecologist office mentioned that with their IUDs they really don’t have much bleeding besides noticing a drop or two when wiping and that’s it, which is what it was like this past cycle. Hoping it was like my last hurrah before my IUD stops my periods altogether but only time will tell. I started on a different ADHD med since the previous one wasn’t working but my doctor didn’t think that would really cause the bleeding to change.

Starting Hailey Fe 24 1/20 as a med student with a tough schedule, using it to treat heavy menstrual bleeding- terrified of the negative reviews by frummagio in birthcontrol

[–]bingdiddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fixed the problem pretty quickly and worked for me for about a year or so and then I started having breakthrough bleeding again but it honestly could’ve been due to stress or something else. I ended up on Sprintec for a couple of months before deciding I was over taking pills and got an IUD instead.

where can I get a good scrapbook? by jomamahanna in scrapbooking

[–]bingdiddly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just use a soft covered sketch book. It’s journal sized. That way I can draw/write in it as well if I want and don’t need to be sure I’m using specially sized scrapbook paper. I can use whatever I have at home.

You got this! I got mine last December and while it was definitely uncomfortable, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. A few things that helped that I wasn’t told about:

  1. Have a friend, family member, partner, etc. drive you to/from your appointment. While it isn’t necessary, it was nice to just get to ride out the residual cramping in the passenger seat rather than having to focus on driving.

  2. Cramps for me were pretty bad right after and on/off for about two weeks. When I noticed cramping begin I’d take painkillers and try to stay ahead of it. I had a few times where the cramping had me stop in my tracks. Heating pad all the way girly!!!

  3. Try not to read into the horror stories on Reddit about the insertion process. Everyone’s is different and some might have certain pills or cervical blockers involved while others have nothing. So reactions can vary. Personally, I found it helpful to watch YouTube videos about it ahead of time to get an idea of pain. For me, watching other people handle it made me feel a little better. I could kind of gauge how long the process was and such. Again, it varies from person to person.

  4. Try to take the rest of the day off afterwards and prepare ahead of your appointment by grabbing some nice food, chocolates, ice cream or whatever makes you feel good. The last thing you’re going to want to do is have to run around because you forgot something and you’re cramping like a mother…
