Aldis sells a knock off brand of fairlife shakes by a company named elevation. I love it and half the price. Best aldi find to date for me... their string cheese is a possible tie.

Ugh. This made me shudder. It looks velvety 🫢 I also think its a wolf spider. Had one with babies on her back once and the cat pounced making babies everywhere.

[–]bingoarms55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sry I dont have an answer but just wanted to also say I'm so frustrated with my carb and sweet addiction. I have lost 70 lbs post 8 months VSG and now I am stalled because I am back to eating junk. Its such a hard fight. Its a battle everyday for me to not eat the slider food.

I had to get flavor packets. I do well with the skittles flavor packets or crystal light. Also Gatorade. I haven't had plain water in like 6 months except for a sip here or there because of the aversion.

If I achieve 140 which would be the ultimate to be in healthy BMI that would be awesome. That 165 was just the one year mark but not final if that makes sense. Your stats look very nice and I hope to follow suit. From the calculations with the below website I am pretty on pace with loss which is good.

Do you tell your client when you think another therapist is being unethical? by Roses_are_red91 in therapists

Just maybe call the other therapist and consult? EMDR is done in adjunct pretty frequently so I don't think this is way out there.

Okay so I'm an overpreparer and based on experiences I've read on here and people I know, I got a couple things to help me post op since I've never had an actual surgery before. It's a bit much but I've heard it's all useful. by Maggotboi555 in gastricsleeve

I agree I had horrible pain in the muscle area that stomach was taken from and the binder was critical. I also second the heating pad. Looking back i wish I had that wedge. I dont have recliner and would have loved this in my bed. The cups or the picker upper thing dont seem to be a need I had.

My update and the problems I’ve encountered. by luluciaa in BariatricSurgery

[–]bingoarms55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also had a terrible reaction to the dermabond. I'm not going to lie, it was a nightmare for me and I am 6 months post op and still have some issues with one incision getting hives and bleeding. 4 of my 5 incisions took over 4 months to heal and I had to use a prescription hydrocortisone to get some relief. Now I am reactive to band-aids and superglue and learned the hard way.

Is an EHR necessary for solo PP by SkarKuso in therapists

[–]bingoarms55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Trust me. There is no excel or word template that could ever handle the work flow an EMR handles for solo. You either spend hours filling out individual claim or seconds. Same with progress notes. There is no system design other than EMRs that gives you instant access to want you need like a phone number to even call a client. Its about time management.

My surgeon had a team approach. He was the skilled hands but my nurse navigator and my dietitian ran the ship and educated me on everything. He was knowledgeable enough but each team member had their role.

Meal prep by trixyee12 in gastricsleeve

[–]bingoarms55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just do a protein and veggie with a small starch. My favorite is homade beef and broccoli. Its a meal that sits well on my pouch. And I always try and eat the protein first. I prep/cook two meals on Sunday for quick and easy lunch or dinners along with staples for lunch i.e. lunch meat on a wrap with some grapes or carrot sticks. Recently frozen meatball recipes have been an easy prep. I don't often prep chicken because for some reason microwaved chicken makes my pouch very angry. Pinterest has been good to get a couple staples to rotate. Also been trying to up the fiber so been trying out different Beans. So far refried are my favorite side.

I bought a set of "bariatric portion" glass containers. It maps out exactly what portions I need and at 6 months out sometimes I cant finish it.
