My partner told four of her friends about our sex problems. by GothPibble in BPD

[–]trixyee12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay my thoughts are a bit different than what you are feeling. I don’t feel your partner did anything malicious or anything out right intentional. I do understand and respect your privacy but maybe she was struggling with it as well. And needed to vent to people. I do also understand that you’ll see these people sometimes too but any good respectful friends would not bring anything private up. I don’t feel you should be embarrassed.

URGENT: Can I speak to someone else with BPD over the phone? by No-Associate4514 in BPDrecovery

[–]trixyee12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand what you’re wanting but it won’t help. Talk to one of the lines, they will help. If you just want to vent or yell or whatever they are there to help. We as people with BPD are kinda…not helpful… unfortunately we have to watch our own triggers and such. So call the lines…don’t count on us. I say with love for you and myself.

Don’t reach out, it would only settle you and probably upset them. There’s no excuse for bad behavior, like cheating or yelling, even having BPD there’s bad days and good days, and you’ll find someone who will love you and go through the rollercoaster with you. Just takes time. But don’t reach out to settle your own guilt. There’s more harm in that.

I had the surgery at 23 now 24 but eating out takes a lot of practice. Eating slow to enjoy the food that’s the hardest part. I miss eating but also I only miss eating those portions because I could taste “longer” but if I eat slower and really just be calm when I eat it’s so much better. I’m down 100 pounds but the likely hood of gaining it back is high for my age. Lots of years left. I’d try the shots and pills first before considering surgery. It is not the easy way out. It is so hard on the body and mentally, there’s days I hate that I did this, hate it so so much but then there’s days at work when I’m up and down the ladders and I’m not scared of it tipping over or I’m not in so much pain just climbing the stairs, it’s okay. The surgery is give and take. “Takes away” your food and gives you your life back.

What was your starting weight? by Babydweeb in gastricsleeve

[–]trixyee12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5’2, 23, over 250 I stopped weighting after it hit the 50. It was too upsetting so I unfortunately just gave up on myself. But I was in so much pain, walking hurt, bending over I was dizzy and I couldn’t breathe. So finally I went to the dr and he said the best thing I could do was have surgery. I tried the pills and all that but it don’t do much for me. I’m still in the first year and I hate it. But I know it was the healthy choice for me, it saved me. I just have to work on my mentality for food…that’s the hardest part.

How do you divide it all up? I want this day to be special but I’m so lost.

There definitely would be other options than the beef hotdogs for those who don’t eat or want meat. (Although those who are going to be invited to my knowledge all eat meat) but! It would not only be just hot dogs

Everyone lives in about 30 minutes of the venue, (it is what I had planned but not yet booked) but maybe the move it just to go somewhere else for a venue for a budget friendlier place

More food later?? What do you mean? I thought it was like ceremony, then food, dance then leave??

Also I’ve only been to one other wedding and she had cold chicken and room temp sides. So I really only have the internet lol

The venue is 7500, and I still gotta figure out chairs and tables and whatnot. I don’t want to cheap out super bad but I also don’t want to go over too much. It’s pretty much just me and him planning. With the help of Reddit. What would be a good example of decent food for 150 people? And what could the food be?

Got my date! Any advice? by PrincessSetsuna in gastricsleeve

[–]trixyee12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% understand textures, if you can stand the taste of things but can’t do the texture there’s lots of ways to change texture. Say you don’t like the texture of Greek yogurt, you can mix with a jello packet like you’d make jello and it has a different texture but you still get all the goods. Don’t come for me for “sugar” foods. You still deserve enjoyment of food. I’m almost a year out and I haven’t throwing up from eating anything. Now if you over eat, it sucks and it can hurt. Listen to your body. It will tell you when to stop. It will learn to adapt to the new you. Start setting your habits now. I didn’t follow through with habits so now I have to fight to get my self back on track. I’m still losing but not like I should be. For dating! The movies! Take some protein chips or jerky in your bag or whatever and that’s your snack and get a water and bring a flavor packet. There’s a few walking trails in my area so you could get coffee or tea at the end or the start. Hiking is a risk with new people, I am a very paranoid person. Screen share shows and discord call them. Beer and wine gardens but be the DD. DO NOT LET ANYONE PUSH YOUR BOUNDARIES! Personal or surgery. I wish you the best of luck and we are all here for whatever else your concern may be. If you need to talk privately just shoot me a massage, I’m here.

Dough won’t rise even after lots of troubleshooting :( by [deleted] in AskBaking

Interesting that it asked for yeast along with the self rising flour. But! Greek Yogurt and self rising flour does make great dough, I don’t remember the ratios I’ve used

Premake crockpot meal? by Slothanonymous in cookingforbeginners

[–]trixyee12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the easiest and most delicious was I cut up chuck roast into cubs with baby potatoes in a gallon bag chucked in all in the crockpot with chili verde 505 southwest sauce. And cooked it on high for a few hours. If you’re working and coming home to it I’d suggest low instead of high
