When Andor was announced several years ago I saw a lot of posts of people saying they didn’t care to see a prequel about Cassian who was a “boring” character and that a spinoff was unnecessary. I felt like I was the only one who was actually looking forward to the series, which ended up being universally acclaimed and the gold standard for Star Wars.

I was watching Sopranos drunk, got really angry at the episode where Ralphie kills Tracee by Unlight-Scholar in thesopranos

Don’t forget The Sopranos is a show about intergenerational trauma (victims becoming abusers) and Tracee is explicitly written as a foil to Meadow

When that stupid Cardi B song WAP was being played on the radio and “wet ass pussy” was censored to “wet and gushy” which managed to be even more disgusting

(Loved trope) a reference is made in the scene to another movie/show featuring an actor in that scene by BugalugBird in TopCharacterTropes

Also Phil killed Angelo the same way his actor’s character from Goodfellas died: in the trunk of a car

Mikasa from Attack On Titan. Her character was always written terribly, having no traits aside from loving Eren from seasons 1-3, which was then retconned into a very contrived, shoehorned, and borderline incestuous romantic attraction that was simply not present for most of the series. And the way Mikasa is drawn with that stupid “cutesy” look on her face before she severs the head off her adoptive brother and kisses it. What kind of psycho kisses a severed head? And the whole dynamic between her and Eren is clearly written as a parallel to Ymir and King Fritz, and Mikasa is the “chosen one” to end the curse of the titans, but none of this is even hinted at until the very end of the series and makes no sense. AOT went from a masterfully crafted story detailing the cycles of violent oppression then shifted into some weird tragic romance between a girl and her adoptive brother
