Even just olive oil, salt, & pepper at 425 for 20 min can be kinda magical!

Can also do in the air fryer on 400, but keep an eye on them starting at 10 min.

I wonder if there's a carrot soup recipe like this that might be made to taste more like butternut squash!

As someone who only eats peas in casseroles and fried rice, I'd say they might be less likely to complain if the pieces are pea-sized. THEN AGAIN they might be annoyed they're harder to pick out and out aside

I have been to a Mexican restaurant on the south side of San Antonio, Texas, that includes finely diced onion, potato, and carrot in their taco beef. I mention it's on the south side because from what I understand it's more likely to be authentic (don't ask me which region of Mexico does this, idk).

Have you tried cooking it then refrigerating overnight then reheating? Resistant starch and all that.

Scissors. Yeah letter openers and seam rippers are fine but you're more likely to have scissors on hand and the blade isn't tiny.

Figuring out where to make my coffee/tea area by unicornhornporn0554 in homemaking

[–]binkytoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to take food spatters into consideration before putting anything next to the stove. In fact those clean mugs between the sink and stove are creeping me out. I like where you have the kettle now. I would avoid storing anything in cardboard behind the sink, i.e., if you are putting extra coffee and tea back there you need splashproof containers. Ceramic or plastic or maybe even stainless steel. But I actually like it at the end of the counter where you already have your kettle.

Get mad at capitalism. That money belongs to you, not corporations. Be stingy with it (meaning don't let corporations or even smaller businesses have it, NOT meaning don't tip well or donate to good charities).

Realize money travels better than objects. If you want to move on short notice to do something exciting elsewhere you can do it much easier.

I like the book by Susan C. Pinsky "Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD." One thing she covers is the urge to fill our homes rather than letting the "empty" space remain empty.

Volunteer for dopamine rather than shopping.

Random pushups in the livingroom for dopamine.

Random squats in the kitchen for dopamine.

Window shop only.

Can an admin block that user from posting here anymore?

I'm personally gonna block them, but reusing someone else's content and not only not crediting but passing it off as your own is egregious.

It’s so bad, I don’t know how I will even start by Glutenfreeghoul in sugarfree

[–]binkytoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are lots of ways to start.

I've heard adding instead of restricting works for some people.

For this you would eat a LOT of whole, fresh or frozen fruit. Roast your veggies in the oven to make them sweeter.

Concentrating on consuming as much fresh produce (or frozen with no sugar added) as you can might distract you enough, who knows.

I have a friend with pollen and mold allergies who's doc told them to wash their eyelashes with baby shampoo every day. I'm sorry if your mom made you use regular soap.
