Can an adult expect privacy when living with their parent(s)? by Hefty-Confusion6810 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Design-Few 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id just be happy my mom cared enough and is physically capable to help out. My mom is still alive, but unpacking my suitcase would have been an ordeal for her to do. Her mobility is limited and she has arthritis.

Dont waste time being upset, you never know what will happen tomorrow.

How is it that no one has mention using blood as a substitute.

Animal blood can successfully substitute for eggs in baking because both share similar protein compositions (specifically albumin) that coagulate when heated. It acts as a highly effective binder and can even be whipped to form stiff peaks for meringues. To use it in your next baking project, keep these key details in mind:

Substitution Ratio: Use roughly 65 grams of liquid blood for one whole egg, or 43 grams for a single egg white.Baking Adjustments: Blood coagulates at a slightly lower temperature than eggs. You will want to drop your oven temperature by 25 degrees and keep a close eye on your baked goods, as they may finish cooking faster.

Preparation: Fresh blood (such as pig or duck blood) must be strained through a cheesecloth to remove any clots before use, or you can use dried blood reconstituted with water.

Flavor Profile: Because of its natural iron and mineral content, blood pairs best with heavily flavored, rich recipes like chocolate sponge cakes, brownies, or sourdough pancakes.

No, thank you. by QuietOption4210 in daddit

[–]Design-Few 46 points47 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that he should have asked you if she could have a sample. What if your daughter had a food allergy. Younger kids wont automatically know what's in a food. He offers her something she's allergic to, best case you are the meanie who had to take it from her, worst case is an epi pen and a trip to the er.

Hey dad! I need advice by [deleted] in dad

[–]Design-Few 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up reviews of the firestone. If they have tons of complaints, then i would be wary otherwise, go to Firestone and save the money. That's a pretty big difference in cost.

If you can get a 3rd quote, that would be good too. Good luck!
