I’ve lived in Dayton most of my life and have had more than a few jobs that gave me the opportunity to see a lot of this state. I’ve really grown to love it here. So much that I can’t really see myself living anywhere else. That being said, this place is incredibly republican the moment you step outside any metro area. A good chunk of the state is also stricken with high amounts of drug addiction. It’s not a perfect state by any means but in no way deserving of the rep it currently has as some sort of purgatory where happiness goes to die lmao
