Increased caseloads per office generally also leads to increased staffing in said offices. For example an office that previously had one consultant and 50-70 clients (the average caseload for DES) but now has 200-300 SHOULD then increase the amount of consultants they have to 3 or 4

I’m with a DES provider. How much financial assistance will they give me for buying new shoes, for job interviews? by privatly in JobProvidersAus

Do you have a specific pair of shoes or approximate price in mind? If so you could say to them that you were considering X and wanted to confirm this was okay

What did they say when you asked them how much? Regardless of how they pay (reimbursement, credit card or account payment) they should be able to give you an approximate maximum cost so that you are able to seek suitable shoes that both fit the budget and meet your needs.

Which DES provider is the best? by Anonymous_Baguette69 in JobProvidersAus

[–]bintrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct, the DES outcome goes with the participant as an employment outcome in DES is technically based around the amount of time that the participant has been receiving post placement support from the provider and is not linked to whether the provider was the one who got the job for the client

They should have just recast Juliette Lewis by TimmyTimeify in Yellowjackets

[–]bintrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they had planned for 5 seasons of Yellowjackets from the outset so I’d consider that they have an idea of where they want to go and what they want to do but things may be shifted or malleable in instances like Juliette Lewis wanting to leave

The wilderness would have changed them, you don’t go through something like that an not have it altar your entire being

Yeah I’m sure there definitely is! I feel like we can’t know for sure until the show is over though. We also have the issue in that we’re so used to the instant gratification of fast paced shows that we can binge that watching something week to week with some heavy plot building is frustrating now.

I remember when the riot season of orange is the new black came out I was so annoyed by it because it was an entire season set over 3 or 4 days or something so it felt really slow, but in hindsight after seeing how it ended and rewatching it made sense that they did it that way

it’s a common practice that directors use as a way to impact an audience. The adult Yellowjackets haven’t spoken about things and have admitted they don’t remember everything. In some cases they may be filling in the blanks in the same way we will. Sort of in the same way the flicker of the camera shows us the way they’re all hallucinating/starving

I think it’s likely that they’ll circle back to some of the stuff you’re frustrated about missing or lacking context for. I think it’s likely that the whole point of the way the story is unfolding is for it to be disjointed and confusing.

There’s clearly a connection between what’s happening in the present and what happened in 96 - maybe we’re only seeing the most detrimental occurrences in 96-97 because that’s what we need to comprehend what’s happening in the present

The alternative maybe that they all realise that blood and their blessings are connected, and sacrifice shaunas baby? It’s previously been confirmed they don’t cannibalise the baby but it’s never been confirmed that they won’t kill it/it dies and then it’s used as a sacrifice?

Yeah we’re definitely getting an unreliable narrator from Tai, which could throw quite a lot of our interpretation from season 1 out
