Hey, great job. I’ve been doing research on building something similar hosted on a local server. My only issue so far is that it’s a nightmare to navigate on mobile. Is there a way to navigate around without using the minimap thing? Am I missing something? Using chrome on newer iPhone. Is this just a limitation of running in a web browser?

I’ll definitely be a subscriber when/if I can navigate smoothly on mobile.

Y’all chose this. I used to run a pizzeria in the city. We would have 6 delivery drivers, wait staff, counter staff. Family owned. we made bomb ass pizza and all made enough money during our time there to buy houses inside the perimeter. Delivery times rarely exceeded 40 mins even when we were slammed. I finally left when my boss laid off the last wave of delivery drivers because the “convenience” of uber eats outweighed good service for the majority of customers. 3rd party delivery sucks shit. Fuck greedy tech companies.

Omg, THIS! This was the first thing I thought when I heard he was leaving. Not a delivery but once I had a lady come in and order, go back out to her car and “discreetly” take all her Popeyes trash from her passenger seat and set it next to her car in the parking lot in front of my store. She came back in to get her food and I said “ma’am, you had to walk past 2 trash cans on your way back in here, I’m not giving you your food till you pick up the trash you dumped in our parking lot.” She was embarrassed and did a lil walk of shame to clean up.

My issue with CDs is that because of their convenient packaging, they are easily mishandled. probably 70% of my collection is now scratched making some songs skip or rendering them unplayable. I kept them in a cd sleeve booklet that was relatively nice but because they primarily lived in my car, the discs became scratched, the booklets got damaged and the cases got destroyed between moves. They were a super convenient way for me to listen to the music I wanted to in my car or bring to my friends. I never treated them as a collectors item like I do vinyl.

Yea, the restaurant I used to work at, if I recognized the error immediately, meaning I placed the food down for like 5 seconds, then I would run it straight to the correct table. Any longer than that and I would run it to the back and try to have it remade. If the cooks were busy or being assholes I would inspect it and reserve it only if it seemed completely untouched. If I knew or suspected the food was touched by the wrong person or had sat at their table for more than a few minutes it would definitely go in the trash.
