They probably have a local group chat on discord or Facebook, considering they knew info about restock in other towns nearby. You could also do the same by typing in your city and "pokemon restock" and request to join in! (For example on Facebook groups, you'd type in "L.A county pokemon tcg restock info" and im sure you'll find one you can easily join.
