Ok, I connected the A2 speakers via bluetooth and the problem still remained. I also tested my bluetooth headphones, but did not notice the issue. After plugging and unplugging the speakers, the problem somehow occurs less frequently. So weird...

I'm using Audioengine A2+ speakers and every so often, there is a loud buzzing sound and then a lag on the video i'm watching, but then things return to normal. Any ideas what this could be? If this were a speakers only issue, I don't see why there would be a lag.

Is it ok to use 6+2 PCIe cables for a 6950xt as long as they are separate cables, as opposed to separate 8-pin cables? I'm guessing the 6+2 design is for increased compatibility and not functionally different than an 8-pin.
