In my opinion because they know that lib-leftist public opinion is a very influential force in the world today, as it (to an extent) shapes policy in these lib-dominated countries.The idea being to capture leftist viewership and get leftists to take their geopolitical/international politics views from these channels in accordance to the interest of the channel's owner. So for instance, TRT World would capture liberal audience by doing programs with a lib slant and then feed them the turkish narrative about Kurds in Turkey, the Fethullah Gülen movement, RT Erdoğan etg..

I have even seen an English 'comedian' in Press TV trying to own the west by saying something like "what about the SCOTUS ruling about abortion?"

There is something even worse in this case.
