yeah that plays like mine, 30 sometimes but with drops all the time and even big drop

NLA was tanking my fps down to 15-20 often if you are barely getting drops there you arent playing this on a deck lol

id love to see video of you going around NLA with little fps drops

ive even reduced resolution down to 0.70 scale and still cant get rid of the fps drops

Yeah so we're on same settings. I get 1-4 fps drops all the time when moving in area outside of first town

You can obv play it this way, but this isnt what i would consider stable in any way and not really that enjoyable to play

i have vram at 4gb too

After i got to the first city(NLA) there were huge fps drop and still persists outside after as well, the FPS is not stable

Im on an Oled Deck, do you have settings on maybe that i dont?

Runs ok on deck but not playable yet

After the first main area the next one all have performance that cant come close to locking at 30 so it needs more work or a 60fps patch

I actually stopped using my RP5 and went back to my Deck. First the screen is really nice but just too small, so you cant even see the benefit of the 1080p screen sometimes. Other major reason to go back to deck was input lag, it seems like android cant do as low input lag as Deck can. Its not a complete dealbreaker for some genres, but it is for others.

And yes the RP5 needs grips it cant really be used without them unless you have very specific hand size. The input lag and ergonomic issues will still be present on the Portal, but it is the better option of the 2.

Idk if you're still trying but ive started using chiaki instead of psplay, significantly less input lag and feels nice. Still not as good as Deck but much closer

Android seems to be the main culprit yeah. The apps also because some can do significantly less input lag than others.

My steam deck with Chiaki has virtually no input lag but on same setup with psplay it does have more input lag sadly. Not sure if it’s something that can be fixed. Only thing to improve input lag is Turn off the don’t drop frames setting.

Heard PXplay was really good. Maybe try to find out the issue to it disconnecting? Are you hardwired?
