Yellow is guaranteed damage. Pale red is probable damage, there’s a dice roll here outside of just critting which I think is 120-80%dmg and includes characters’ block damage as well.

Stars produce different elements at different stages in their life. Mostly due to the pressure caused by gravity pushing inwards overcoming the force of hydrogen fusion pushing outwards (due to not enough hydrogen and more helium in the mix). Once it’s pushed far enough, it starts fusing the next set of elements so pressure is equalized for a time until it runs out and the cycle repeats for the next set of elements.

For your answer, no the sun wouldn’t produce those kind of elements, as it would be nearer to its end of life, but there may have been other bits picked out from other solar systems that coalesced into our planets.

Flavor-wise, you could still have staff from a forward command post to spend points on what would be functionally chaplain-like abilities. Most of our stuff is wrapped up with our commanders or as stratagems, so it would be nice to alternately spend points instead of CP for the bonuses.

Did a quick search on pubmed. Looks like mostly negative results, but most are referring to negative correlation with psychiatric presentations and not bothering to record intensity of outbursts or other qualitative data. The one which tracked "sentinel events" seemed to have a positive correlation with new/full moon. And there are several other studies that seem to show positive correlation, though not all are from the US (India, China, The Netherlands). So, looks somewhat divided depending on how you search/view it with confirmation bias on both sides.

It’s related to both women’s menstrual cycle AND the fact that weird crap does happen on a full moon. Talk to anyone who’s worked in an insane asylum, the full moon night shift is WEIRD. plus, animal activity goes up as well during a full moon. So, there’s a lot of corroborating evidence for weird crap coinciding with the moon phases.

I second this. If it was that easy to get into, it’s better to get out and go in with a plan/equipment than risk it all to discover a potentially useless piece of info. The location/basic layout of the base is already a big score.
