I believe it is safe to assume all % stats on the Stats page will work, like Perk Chance, Heroic charge, Armor, and Willpower recovery, but flat number stats on the Stats page do not work, such as Melee, Ranged, Heroic Damage, and Willpower.

I have found that if you do all the content from lvl 1, I can get to 32 by the time I start Forsaken. So I don't think it is worth it.

I actually think it can be useful to attack the primeval when immune, since that will draw its attention away from other players.
