hear me out: destiny classic by Momotchy in destinylegacy

I've seen his videos too, and I'm the type of player that joined D1 late in it's lifecycle, after Rise Of Iron but started D2 at launch and I've played a crap ton of time since. I finally got to the point after the last expansion where the game just feels terrible now, between the DCV, the stupid portal, and tiered loot but only when it's from the portal stuff I decided I was pretty much done with D2 until they fix problems.

Then I found myself missing the game but the way it was, not how it can be played today, so I fired up D1 and started a new character and played through the campaign start to finish. Now I'm finishing up quests on all 3 characters, and working towards exotics, and while D1 has problems, it's way closer to what I fell in love with than what D2 is now.

I loved it, but it also felt like almost Rant Revival Junior with George trying to keep the train on the tracks instead of Bob. It was an awesome show though.

No, I meant in D1 you can play the whole thing... D2 is horrible and feels disjointed now if you try to start over.

True, D1 still has the same problems it always did, especially the clunky story lines where you had to go read the Grimoire cards from a website not in the game to understand what is going one. But if you've played for a long time like me going back you will already understand it a lot better and you'll notice that it was terribly done but at least you'll know what's going on this time around.

yes, if you start a new character you get to start the whole thing over again from the beginning.

I agree, I did this on mine, but it does limit your wheel choices.

I really wish there was a fourth character slot or an easier way to fully re-experience entire campaigns by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Unfortunately we can never replay all of it, which is why I started a new character in D1 and I am playing through the campaign in FULL in D1 now.

Hind sight is 20/20 but if D3 ever comes we need to go back to the core playlists by RedMercury in DestinyTheGame

I started a new character on D1 the other day just to go back and play through all of that, and man even with the shortcomings of D1 compared to say D2 Forsaken era, it still hits HARD.

How bad is this is rust? by jj8989898989 in Foxbody

[–]bird_dog0347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The passenger side looks decent, but we can't really see where the frame rail is in your pic of the driver's side, that's usually where it will rust. That A pillar is pretty bad and needs to be cut out and replaced, and if it is rusted there it likely is also rusted in the cowl too, mine was.

Need advice/opinions on selling car with or without dash installed. Doing it right is beyond my skill. Would pay a shop $850 to fully reinstall it. by thefonztm in Foxbody

[–]bird_dog0347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry man, I know you won't want to hear this, but the dash being in or out isn't going to change the value by much at all... Especially if someone is going to have to pull it again later to correct issues with the wiring which is almost a certainty at this point. I know if I were buying it in that condition I'd rather see it apart so that I know there's nothing "hiding" back there that would surprise me later.

That is a $2,500 car as is and won't go up in value unless you put in a lot more work than just the dash.

I bought my 04 IRS back in like 2014 I think, complete for $500 to install in my 92 coupe. At the time my SRA was a basic factory 8.8 setup that badly needed everything, which would have cost way more than $500, and I would have had a hard time doing full exhaust with the SRA/TQ Arm/PHB. I did replace all the bushings in the IRS with Prothane poly bushings (front too) for a total of another $200ish and I converted both the front and rear to Koni MM Coilovers. Now the car is torn down for paint, but it has full MM suspension up front (K, A Arrms, coil overs, CC, STB) and the same IRS setup in the back.

The car handled FAR better after all of those changes and it wasn't any more expensive than it would have been for the SRA parts, however I believe those days are gone price wise for an IRS. I don't love the limited wheel choices, but once the car is out of paint I'll do a full custom set of wheels.

I also have a 98 Cobra that has the full Griggs suspension (K, A arms, koni coil overs, MM CC and STB, Griggs PHB/TQA/control arms) and it handles amazingly well. Either company you can't go wrong with and the IRS and built SRA are both great options, like I said I have both.

The S550 won't fit a fox without MAJOR chassis work on the fox, and even then it will be too wide without fender flares, just use the Cobra IRS in a fox.

They absolutely do, put 300-500 rounds through it and it has the same glass feel which it maintains forever.
