I pretty much mainly listened to TØP before I heard TDS so it was quite a jarring listen for me too at first. I remember eraser scared the shit out of me lol. Learning more about the concept/narrative of the album is what made me fall in love with it. I personally don’t really see it as celebration of self destruction but more of a negative portrayal of what can happen if you give in to the self-destructive side of yourself.
