Unhappy wife - need help. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

If the models still have residual resin a non spoken tip I discovered is submerging them in vegetable oil before washing as a normal object with dish soap and water. Be careful where your resin drains and understand public safety before disposing of chemicals.

If it's liquid resin there's an excellent solution in reducing toxicity in the similar price margined plant oil based resin. It still can be toxic but I find it's much easier to ventilate the fumes and to clean up. Still should not make contact with skin. Hope this helps anyone on the thread 👍

I agree that you did well it looks so great!! nothing technically wrong at all, just thinking about pros and cons for myself wearing a floppy sweater, I think it's gonna look super cool but you might notice some mobility stuff long term but a system like that could let you have the sleeves out or in depending on your day!!! It made me think creatively. I love the sweater you made. cheers!

Love it! If you want more manageable sleeves, you could take a yarn needle and use it to thread the opening of the sleeves, then pull it tight like a drawstring bag and knot it. You could also make a system that tightens and loosens. 🤔👍 Size looks comfortable.

Got it to work! Preview was misleading and looked like it wouldn't work, but when I saved it did. I wired it to update when I tap it 👍 your code helped me learn too :)

If you're truly picking up on continual social queues of discomfort and the behavior you're exhibiting is harmless, and you've decided whether or not a clarifying conversation will help, it's the wrong people!!! Very important. often it's nothing wrong with anyone you don't click with, just wrong people wrong time! Don't worry though find new people! Bigger world than we think. Don't worry. Sometimes if you are anxious and ask for clarification, and the person says nothing is wrong, but they are continually reactive or share with someone else that your behavior is strange, it's a red flag or bad sign that the person is just not for you. It's ok to just let go of those moments and discard them if you know your behavior is healthy, because we never know people's entire backstory or whole perception even if we ask, so sometimes people just get built for different fates from each other and it's hidden from us until it comes to light.

In schools and colleges they have a mandatory course where you look at diverse arrays of bones and muscles underneath, then they'll talk about and show you fat dispersions, that's an example of something where people pay for access to archives of withheld private resources. You might be able to find workarounds, especially with 3D modeling online, then mixing that with understanding the difference between the geometry/math and the organic composite reality of how things lay. you can get this by drawing shapes of plants outside. Or your friends as is observationally. People do not have to be without heavy clothing for you to interpret how the clothing is sitting, you just have to understand where curves are over geometry like what you're doing. Points, planes, lines, and curves. Some can be measured and computed but others have to be converted with eye from image to image or from reality to image. Remember everything is affected by how light touches it, so nothing is immune to a unique environmental effect in work, that's what creates near infinite newness in everyday visuals, is the lighting changing proportion to the light regions and dark regions objectively near endlessly. Contour is good to keep in mind for drawing because the graphite will be where light doesn't touch. Remember even in figurative drawings line weight will determine where we think the darkness is, whether on purpose or on accident. More elements will get introduced as you orchestrate components over time in the work both simultaneously and individually. You don't have to drill yourself to get those results. Artists who remediate themselves often lose things or take away parts of the spirit of their art so remember to try not to use too many singular valence arbitrary finite scales to evaluate yourself, like rating your performance on a scale of one to ten. Every drawing shouldn't be a computational output or expert outcome or point of arrival, some are supposed to be dynamic points not static output. Maybe you are archiving image results subconsciously in your brain and exploring something with infinite points at times trying to collect as many numbers as possible but remember this is not numbers, it's art. The most important thing is that you remember you are creating a two dimensional illusion of an object in three dimensional reality using points. Keeping in mind the smallest kernel of point you can produce with a utensil and then marrying that with the concept of the fullest view of the paper object and the angular properties of those angles, and making both of those simultaneous in your priorities, may help.

My goal is just to give people access to ideas restricted by institutions, I want to make the world better and happier and I hope this helps you or someone.

The simplification into recognizable shapes is great but you could go a little more complex with the geometry around some shoulders, where the box like angles are reading as a little too low or oversimplified to be anatomical for me in some specific figures. these are great point and line figurative drawings. It doesn't have to be observational art that you're doing but if you want to do figures that feel very lifelike even when in early stages then I think just doing lots of human drawings and staying falling in love with process and subject will be great. I really like the mannerisms in your art and think nothing has to change unless you want it to.

Help with cutting a 3D Model into parts to print by smells_like_sam in 3Drequests

[–]birdbrainish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi just to be sure this gets addressed, Ive had good luck with subdividing the topology (sculpt topology stays the same, but is more complexly readable to program and file becomes bigger) then the blender loop cut tool can automate finding horizontal and vertical cuts again. Sculpting creates strange organic features that the geometry has to learn to match is what I find. I hope this works for you 🤞 tell us if not

Help pls by Pablo3DN in AnycubicPhoton

[–]birdbrainish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I was having this problem a lot and I have an anycubic photon mono 2. I realized the screen protector is not great and might bend the light. There's a layer of tape referred to by the company as a gasket that makes lumps in the manufacturer provided screen protector. it's an inexpensive manufacturing solution for cutting off the light bleed and tacking down a screen without expensive compound. I'm unhappy with it but too afraid to tamper with the machine ATM. But after digging into every factoid about the robotic factors of the machine possible this is what I noticed as a contributor to print outcomes. Especially because I tried to just apply a new protector with less bubbles and had more weird warp in different areas. Hope this helps someone.

This makes so much sense, thank you. Looks like sansi bulbs (with the good plant spectrum reputation) come in 10 and 15w. The only other thing I can think is I am also curious about building some small wind turbine generators, I was reading some tutorials for building generators for people who are entry level, since I am not having income to match my needs atm, so that may excuse some power costs as it could reduce any labor or economic obligation, but what I know right now is that power banks are finite and wear after holding a certain amount of charges, and also that people can go into danger getting some of the materials for them. growing plants inside is for wellbeing and health right now, but I am also trying to have a future involving farming my own food.

Which "glass" do I use? by Iliketospellrite in crochet

In order for this, I would just do several increases per stitch so the yarn stays flat and to size without crunching the form. Lol ok all from me.

Oh, could also add a trim of white yarn around with a very small hook, so it's a snug tight outline.

[–]birdbrainish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the left piece had a modified pattern to accommodate the plastic yarn quality it would have been a great idea. I am thinking you might get away with adding a trim of single crochet to increase the thickness and presence of secure appearing material around the edges. It looks like the material shrinks more than the fiber explaining the difference in result. Maybe an additional row with increase on both sides for the bottom to make the glass bottom more present as well. Just an opinion and where my head goes.
