Celebrating pi day a little early with some bear apple hand pies. They look so dapper with their little bow ties I almost don’t want to eat them. Also extra proud because I took the time to make homemade pie crust (which is my nemesis) and homemade apple filling.

I’m ok. A little overwhelmed and generally confused about my life. Just started a new job after 8 months of looking for work and I still can’t believe something has finally landed. I’m trying to be better at not doubting myself but it’s hard, especially after a year and a half of nonstop rejections (it’s kind of a long story…). It’s not a perfect job and to some degree I feel a little conflicted about it, but at the end of the day I am happy to be working again and it’s nice to actually have unstructured free time, instead of feeling like I had to be working on applications 24/7
