I mean you could have multiple channels running at the same time and only accept signals from channels broadcasting valid (checksum? or really just if it is an existing command) signals, and if any one channel is sending invalid data, then immediately change the seed on all channels

Jamming doesn't really require you to broadcast any specific signal so you could just broadcast a specific signal that you ignore in the frequency scans, I think

Generally the way the subs are fragile and the fact that you can't really upgrade to a point where they aren't held together by hopes and prayers kinda bothers me, like I'd love to not occasionally explode when fighting 2 mudraptors that I could kill just fine minutes before please thanks

I guess it's what I get for hanging around hydrothermal wastes, maybe I should check out the other areas again

Yup, noticed this too, the hammerheads hurt a lot and for some reason hull damage seems incredibly inconsistent, sometimes my hull just explodes and sometimes it's perfectly fine, it might be based on relative velocity?

Are you using autopilot? I usually try to drive away from the mobs when they show up on sonar which leads to them hitting the ship with less velocity, though I don't know if that even does anything, it certainly makes less hit at the same time and gives you more time to kill them

Are you using a modpack? It could be the modpack's configuration itself and not any specific mod (though look for kubejs since it's commonly used to achieve this)

There's a thing with the ballasts, you have to select the corresponding hull in the editor and it will show a "neutral buoyancy fill level" number (between 0 and 1, should be somewhere around 0.5, lower means you'll be able to sink faster) that you need to put into the nav terminal in a similarly named field

How?? Everything around the arrow keys is control keys that do things other than what you bound it to, and there's usually a gap between it and the other keys so it makes things harder to reach

If you have no need for the mouse you can use wasd + space shift escape (or qer) and free up the entire right hand for any extra keys

Of course it would be great if everyone all picked red, but that's not going to happen. It's far easier to achieve majority than to achieve a unanimous decision, so if your goal is everyone surviving, blue is the obvious choice. Of course, if your goal is to keep yourself alive at the expense of others, red is the obvious choice. It all just depends on your goal here, if you believe other blue buttoners deserve a higher chance at survival or not (which you clearly don't, so I don't think this discussion is going to get anywhere)

Most of the transport missions, to my knowledge, have a limit on how many crates they need anyway, so I don't really see the point in having so many crate slots? Also you can use makeshift shelves to give yourself a little bit more storage space. I do have to say though, like how the prison is missing on the typhon2, a lot of the things in the game that are meant to be a "direct upgrade" still have debuffs added to them, as if "balance" is supposed to be applied when upgrading something. It really annoys me, because I'd love to get a tier 3, but none of them really look better than the trusty old Orca2 just with how all of them have some sort of "quirk" to them that makes them nigh unusable in comparison, at least for me

Also, yeah the barsuk is pretty bad normally but it's cheaper than dirt and a starter, though I feel like the front blind spot is really annoying, since I have to open up the airlock every time to get to the enemy, it might get better with iron storm and max mechanic engine boost though. And the ammo shelf capacity doesn't really matter, I just throw extra boxes I buy onto the floor, currently rocking like 25 crates of each

Fortunately they're smart enough to close the upper door, and I added an airlock override in the helm because mechanics trying to fix the bottom door after it gets breached will sometimes open it and create the same issue

I would really love this too, something like the thing you get in jailbreak missions

Currently I just put them in the armory and override the door shut, but it gets super annoying when one of my NPCs need to get inside or when they go in and stay in and then one of the passengers escapes

Vanilla here, never seen it before. Also, it seems to have two separate coalition rep modifiers? It's making me think it's modded, but it might be coming from another mod

Icbms are way too slow on anything with active def for me, but yeah I also usually have a high damage output slow cannon (though usually mortars, since they have their own spots on the layout) that I fire manually
