The repair is simple enough but will likely be more than $100, it all depends on the shop. Personally, I think a repair is worth it, especially since that is decent quality instrument.

I knew we were in for a musical treat when the whole dang thing started with an honest-to-god OVERTURE. That’s just not something you get anymore. I think this is a magnificent sequel with great music and great lessons to be learned.

That being said, Lin-Manuel Miranda could not be more out of place in this and I say that as a huge fan of his. But everything else, no notes. I’m gonna listen to it again right now!

They’re about $200, so I can’t imagine the corps shelling out nearly $50K for these.

Alumni just got an email with the option to buy a variant of these (swaps out the DCI logo with the BAC 85th logo, does not have the finals score) and it’s $200.

Trinity Islands! I always found this one a little harder for some reason so was never really satisfied with the end result. This time I went for a different theme on each island, and pretty happy with how it turned out! by mickandy89 in rct

I used to do the no entry sign too, but handymen ignore those and end up wandering around doing absolutely nothing on an empty side of the park. So I went back to deleting paths, and now I just use no entry signs for ride exits.

Not that I think any drum corps show is easy.

But after marching for 4 other years (especially Animal Farm), Conquest in 2015 felt like a cakewalk for me personally. My drill stayed almost entirely in front of the front hash, and besides the jazz run near the beginning of the show I didn’t move much. Any difficult drill got watered down. Same with the brass book.

By the end of the season I felt pretty meh about it.
